The theme this week for the Photo Hunt is : Old Fashioned
This "record player" is Old Fashioned by today's standards.
This is an Old Fashioned light fixture. It does not work.
Smoke detector does!
Tillie is lounging by the Old Fashioned storm windows.

Those are great examples of old fashioned items, Mickey! That old fashioned light fixture is very cool.

We had a hard time with the theme this week.

Cool record player and I see you've got a stack of albums there with it. And, yes, I am old enough to remember both lol

Have a great day!

Those are very nice old things Mickey. And Tillie has found a very useful purpose for one of them.

Ah yes, the record player. I remember having boxes full of 45 records when I was a kid. My sons have no clue what I'm talking about now, lol.

Have a great weekend!

Those were good choices... it looks as though your home was built many years ago. Back then, things were built to last!

We have an old fashioned record player, and I ask myself why. Never use it and I'm sure the few old lp's we have are all scratchy. I think we're keeping it only because it's Sunny's Daddy's :-p He hates to part with stuff.

Ah there's nothing like putting a record on a turntable, even if I have an ipod for general use. Happy weekend

Mom listened to lots of music on a record player. She said you had to dance soft or the needle would jump.
Wonder what that means?
