Concrete Dog

It is a nice sunny Thursday.
We are enjoying the sunshine
and the comforts we are lucky to have.

Tillie

I like my chair.
It's cozy and I can watch what's going on.
I can even see when Tillie walks by,
then pounce on her! Heehee

Georgia

I love the warmth of sunshine.
I also like this plastic bag.
It crinkles and it is warm too.
I do not try to get in it or chew it.

Mickey

Mom was wandering around the city on her way to work.
She saw this funny looking dog.

It is a long dog, that does not bark.
It says " Be kind and merciful to all animals
In memory of Ester Benjamin"
1824-1879
We think she must have been a nice lady.
You can biggify the picture.

Mom was also happy to see our first daffodil!
It probably came out when we had the hot sunshine.
I don't blame it,I would come out to greet the sun too !

Plastic bags!!!! They're great!

How's your bald spot growing back? My OTW says you can just see where mine was, 'cause my underfurs have grown back but my long guard hairs aren't full length yet.

That dog sculpture is wonderful. It looks like it's a drinking fountain for dogs too. I really like the inscription - what a nice thing to do!

And good on you, Mickey, for not chewing the plastic bag! We have to hide those around here.

Now that is a dog I could snuggle up with. I am very glad your weather is nice and the daffodils are starting to bloom.

Enjoy all those sunbeams (and pouncing!)

That hard dog is real cute! Do you think dogs get to drink from the bottom part?

Those are great things to be thankful for. We have seen lots of tulips lately. They look so pretty. We are glad you got some nice sunny weather to enjoy. It certainly has been a long time coming, hasn't it?

Crinkly things are very nice.

You must live in a strange place. You got warmer weather than us, but our daffodils are already wilted.

I was worried about our daffs and tulips--the 90 degree heat was hard on them--they're glad to have a 25 degree temperature drop and rain!
