What Tillie Saw

Tillie: Yesterday was a very strange day. We had sun and
then rain, and they sometimes happened at the same time !
We also had thunderboomers and some lightening. I did
not like that very much. Most of us kitties didn't!!
It did make for lots of interesting things to see though!

Just before sunset, Roxy Raccoon came by for a snack.
I can see her in the bird feeder.

She came alone and seems to have left the babies at home.
Sometimes she comes back after dark and brings the babies.

During the afternoon yesterday, we had the thunder storm and
it poured lots!  See the clouds and how dark it was.
Even during the storm we could see blue sky and sometimes sunshine!

If you look closely, you can see the rain splashing
in the puddle.

Here, you can seethe sun shining on these leaves.
The vertical likes you see is rain!
Mom looked for a rainbow but did not see one.

This scene from the kitchen window was taken just before sunset.
Some clouds were still dark looking, but there was sun, blue sky
and sunlight clouds. It was quite pretty.
I did see lots yesterday, but I could have done
without the loud,noisy thunder!!!

You had a very interesting weather day. None of us seems to be scared of thunder boomies. At least none of us hides during thunderstorms and we have a lot of them.

Strange stormy day indeed... We love your pics of Roxy Racoon, we don't have racoon here in Switzerland. Are the friendly with cats ? Or shy ? Or aggressive ?

Such interesting weather indeed! We had lots of sun then it was gloomy followed by 10 min rain, then now it's sunny again! :)
Roxy Raccoon looked a little worried in that picture. We wonder if it was because of the thunderboomers?

Interesting sky photo. We got the same storm, but we did not lose power or get hail like some places did. We had a nice relaxing day, just you all did.

We would love to see a raccoon as they have such cute faces. We had a rainstorm like your last week and it was quite scary.

Tillie, I know what you mean! Since we're in our monsoon season now, we get lots of loud storms. The fun thing? Just a few days ago we saw a double rainbow!

These are beautiful pictures! You have interesting weather up there, don't you? In the summer all we gets is day after day of boring fogs. It is fun laughing at tourists who think cause it's California it's going to be hot, so they all run around in their t-shirts and shorts and flip-flops getting all goose-pimply and shivery. Ha ha ha. We are not very nice, are we? But hey--it's the only part of the fog that's fun! XOXOXO
