Watching Rocky Raccoon

Julie: Mum has often seen cherries on the grass when she goes
out to put seed in the bird feeder. Sometimes she finds
broken branches on the ground.

Early one morning at about sunrise she was up and
looked out the window and this is what she saw.

Yup, that's Rocky Raccoon!
Now we know why the cherries were on the ground
and branches were broken.

Rocky: What? Are you talkin' to me?

These cherries are up to high for you.
That's why I'm up here.

Seriously? You want me outta this tree?
Sheesh!

Geez lady! OK! OK!

Rocky left and ran home.
We think he changed hos visiting times  to make sure mum
is not around. MOL!

Whatever critters you see from your window,
we purr you enjoy them.
WE also wish you all a FUN weekend !

Cool! We found a groundhog up in our mulberry tree once. Who knew they could climb trees?

Wow, you have raccoon TV, too. It's so cool! Rocky is a cute raccoon. Looks like he is very aware of pawparazzi :-) I hope he won't break too many branches!

The food I put out for Ginger (outdoor cat) has attracted raccoons. Last week it was a Mom and her baby. Those photos turned out great! Have a great weekend.

Rocky does look cute. Mum took me for a walk yesterday and we went over to the woods in our field. We heard lots of creaking and the branches were moving. Mum picked me up and hurried back home. A lynx escaped from a local wildlife park 10 days ago and is still on the loose. Mum wasn't taking any chances because his tracks are still seen near where he got out.

How fun! Our raccoon visitors don't climb any of our trees but they do raid our Squirrel TV nut box! Hope you get lots more Rocky TV!

What a messy guy Rocky is. We have raccoons around here and they will knock the bird feeder out of the tree and eat the bird food.

That sure was nice of Rocky to "help" with the cherries, but he does sound pretty messy.

Now we know where Rocky went - into your yard! He sure loves cherries, but kinda hard on the cherry tree.

Have a great weekend!

Julie when I see a raccoon I go totally completely crazypants! One thing mom said yesterday was how horrible that one got into ur garbage can during the night. Trash everywhere and the cat food cans licked cleaner'n a whistle.

That Rocky is kind of cute. We have a deer that comes and eats peaches off of our peach tree. Silly Racoon. Have a great day.

We have coons here too sometimes...they sure can ruin bird feeders easier than squirrels:(
We had a groundhog stealing our mulberries too. And don't even discuss rabbits...dog-guy is not as fast as when he was a young pup...

Great pictures of that coon:)
