The other day dad came home for lunch and when he went into the bathroom to floss, he spotted what he first thought was a speck of dirt on his cheek that turned out to be a good sized tick! She once found a tick bite on her upper arm several days after she was in bushes at the arboretum trying to get photos of bees...and of flowers. Several days later the red bullseye appeared. She couldn't get to the doctor quickly ebough. He saved her from bad effects of Lyme disease through a certain antibiotic. for a month.
