A Stroll in the Garden

The weather continues to be very nice and warm. For this reason,I decided to ask Dear Miss Peach to go for a stroll in her lovely garden before the last of the blooms loose their allure in these advancing Fall days . To my absolute delight,Miss Peach accepted . (WooHoo!!!) Ahem!

Before going,I thought it proper to get cleaned up.

I sent Mom out to the garden to pick some flowers for Miss Peach and her Mother.

I do hope they like marigolds,

and dainty begonias.

I added Johnny Jump-ups since they are happy flowers(like panseys)

We enjoyed a leisurely walk watching a few butterflies that were still around and birds singing. Then we sat for a while by the pond where I tried to catch and watched the fish swimming.

We then had tea and sweet bread(so yummy) made by Miss Peach's Mom. We chatted for a while and then I left for home. Oh such fun. I hope to do this again!!! (WooHoo!!)

  22. My dear Mickey! I can hardly remember when I have had a more delightful day in the company of a gentleman mancat. You came like a breath of crisp Autumn air bring with you my favorite flowers. I remember the wax begonias from my Oma's garden in germany. She loved them in all the soft colors they come in. Marigolds are my childhood favorites also. I even love their smell! Do you know they are edible? Oh and you picked Johnny Jump Ups!!! They are a Victorian posy also known as hearts ease. Like you who ease an old girl cats heart sigh....today was~ unforgetable, thats what you are~ in the words of Nat King Cole my favorite singer:)
Thank you for the sweet paw kiss before you left to go back home. You are indeed a gentlecat...
