Photo Hunt - Emotions

Photo Hunters

The theme this week for the Photo Hunt is : EMOTIONS

Georgia demonstrates : Anxious( see below for the reason)

Tillie demonstrates: Curious

Mickey demonstrates: Concern

Mom's emotion is :Exasperated
Why, well 3 reasons.
1.Thursday morning the power supply on the computer died.
2. Friday our friend Storm went to the Rainbow Bridge.
3. We have a forest fire! Because of that we lost power and could not visit our friends.
We are very lucky ,though as we were not too close to the fire and were not evacuated.

Views from our home

Looking toward the next community of Porter's Lake.

The wind was gusting to 90kmh (about 56mph)

Smoke

More information here.

We are very thankful that no one was hurt in this fire. We hope it stays that way.

There is ANOTHER forest fire out near Moe & Mindy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (they are safe though)

Purrs for all of the people that were evacuated.

  2. Mickey, we hope you all stay safe. This morning the wind is still high,we had hoped it would drop. There were some evacuations in our area too due to another forest fire, which is also south of us. Hope with the aid of the air metal machines that can drop tons of water, these fires can be put out soon. Dadbean went to the top of our nearby big hill last night and he could see your big fire in the distance, even saw a tree catch fire from that distance.......and you are a 45 min. drive from us!! This all so very scary.

Strange, we also have a forest fire in our area. It is on the road that leads to the famous Peggy's Cove. Homes are threatened too, and evacuations ordered.

Hope this high wind dies down quick!

Stay save, we're thinking of you.

  6. I love all of these photos. They each say something different but get the idea of "emotions" across very clearly. Even the photos of the smoke/fire evoked emotions not only for you but us looking at them. Stay safe.

    Mine is up...come on over!
