Mancat Monday

It was cold again this weekend.
Mom decided it was a weekend to watch movies.
So, I did some of this...

and some of this.

This is snow that was blown onto the window.

It's melting a bit .

It's hard to show that it is windy and the snow is blowing sideways !!
The good news is that it is getting warmer!!!!!
Our freezing weather is gone, it might even rain tomorrow.

Oh well, back to my snoozing!!!

  11. We're just lazing about watching holiday coverage of MLK Day on tv, it's snowing lightly

An ever so slight warmup here though, and a test of these thin "miracle fabrics" yay! they work --I was out hiking in thin slacks, thin jacket, hat and thin gloves--and I felt fine-- (I was out for hours) I don't know how these "outerwear clothing" people do it, but it sure beats being wrapped up like a mummy.

This morning I looked through my summer photos, and found a set of the brutally hot humid days, (one shot showed men tarring a road-- it was dizzyingly hot that day.) extremes of weather are experiences! we have people struggling in winter and every summer we have heat stroke fatalities. It hasn't been cold enough to freeze my door shut--that hasn't happened in a few years, but I'll never forget it.

  12. of course the cats enjoy a lifestyle which means no struggle to open a frozen door or carry groceries (aka cat food) uphill on a hot day.
