Ice Picture Sunday

This past week we had snow
followed by lots of freezing rain.
We are sharing some pictures
of the creations made by Mother Nature

The ice is starting to melt now.
The very cold temperatures are slowly going away.
Today it will be very light rain
and above freezing temperatures!!!

    The ice is amazing and beautiful, but there is that wonderful feeling you get when you know it's melting and warmer weather is on it's way!

    Maybe they're melting away? We're sure to have more ice, but are now experiencing a warm break--50 degrees! I do welcome winter ice back after these rejuvenating breaks --too long a break and the apple trees bud too early-- things get "out of time" and spoiled.

    The photos are beautiful, Mickey! (Don't worry, you and your sisfurs are more beautiful than the ice...) It was really warm here yesterday - we got to have the windows open for a little while. Lots of things to smell outside!
