Oh My Fur!!!!!!!!!

Well friends, I went back to the Vet yesterday.
I had my ultrasound.

They stole fur from my belly!!!!

You can see a little bit.
I would not show Mom a lot.
The Vet did not see anything obvious.
There were some nodules, so they took a sample.
They used a big needle to get some cells!!
We will have to wait 10-14 days to hear back.
I guess I can relax until then.

Well,maybe not!!!
Mom!!!! Stop taking my picture!!!!

We are done Mom, no more pictures!

See these ears?
They say I've had enough today!!!

I do want you to meet Daisy!
She is the Vet cat.
Like our friend Daisy, she is a dilute calico.
She is very friendly and willing to guide you
to the exam room.
She is well trained.I think she wants money from Mom!!
Or maybe treats, hahahahaha!!!!

  4. Our vet has 3 kitties in the offices too.. it is so sweet to walk in and see them wandering around a cause you know that you are at a vet that does actually care :)
Now Your Tummy Mickey, Momma is trying to reach through the screen to pet that softness, I must admit it does look very soft and even for me it would be hard to hold back even a little touch :)
We so hope and are gonna puur our hardest that everything is ok :))

  5. I bet you're glad that's over! I hope the sample shows nothing icky.

And you know what I've found, Mickey? Moms just can't help themselves with a shaved belly. Fair warning: your mom might try to find your belly button and say something silly like, "Where's that Mickey belly button?" about five million times. It's happened to me--it could happen to you!

  7. Oh my beloved darling! I am so sorry to hear that you had to endure this torture to your fluffy belly. I am purrrring my hardest that the outcome will be good. It has been a hard time for both of us these past few weeks. I have a bare belly all the time and I am sure your furs will grow back in very fast. Soon all this worrisome time will be behind us and we can think about our future together. Mommy is helping me pick out my wedding shoes...I need two pair don't you know:) hee hee.
Don't catch a chill on your tummy...
All my love your sunshine XOXOXOXOX

  8. Hello Daisy.

I can't believe they shaved you like that Mickey. I hope you will be okay, and not get too cold. I am purring that the results will be good.

  9. That doesn't sound fun. At least you lost fur on your belly, so it isn't as obvious and embarrassing. I hope everything turns out fine with the tests.

  10. So glad they didn't find anything obvious. We will continue to purr and pray for you!

And, mom says at her clinic, them don't have an office cat. Although they've been trying to talk the owners into getting one, they don't seem to think it'd be a good idea.

The workers want the company though. :)

  11. We are sorry the vet stole your belly furs and your cells! Dixie has had her cells stolen before and she didn't like it either!

It's a very good idea to relax and rest while you are waiting for the results, if you can. We are purring and purraying that the results come back just fine, Mickey!

Daisy looks like a very nice office greeter!

  12. We're sorry about your furs, Mickey, and your V.E.T. visit doesn't sound like much fun (except maybe for seeing the beautiful Miss Daisy!). We hope you get good news from the vet. Sending you many purrs!

  13. Let us know the results Mickey ~ my cats get those tests and poked and prodded too. Best to just take a nap, don't worry, and relax and let your bellyfur grow back.

  14. We are purring for you to get an A+ on your test, Mickey.

It was nice to meet Daisy. Our v-e-t has a clinic cat named Cuddles. She is very very cuddly.

We'll be purring that your cells pass their test. 10-14 days seems like a long time to wait.

  18. Mickey you sure don't look very happy. We wouldn't want our furs stolen either. We hopes your tests show nothing serious. We will keep you in our thought and prayers.

  19. Oh Mickey, it sounds like you were very, very brave! I'm sorry your belleh got shaved, but I think you might get even more tummy-rubs now. I guess Pixie never had to get shaved for her ultrasounds because her undercarriage was almost hairless anyway!

It seems "Daisy" is the perfect name for dilute calico kitties!

  25. We hope your results come back positive. Good news on your health will be well worth having a few furs stolen.
