What Mom Saw

Yesterday, it was really windy and cloudy.
Mom thought it would be good to do yardwork
as there would not be any pesky mosquitoes!!
When she went out, she saw this on the deck railing!

On another part of the deck ,she saw another one.

What are they???

Baby spiders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at how they cuddle.
They won't be so friendly to each other in a few days, heehee

Mom also saw this little spider on the window.
When it saw Mom,it started to drag it's prey away from her.
I don't think Mom would have wanted it though!

If you look very carefully, you can see the spider's HUGE eyes!!!

She says it is a Jumping Spider.

As for me, I was remembering a day or so ago when it was sunny.

I was relaxing is glorious sunbeams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today, it is pouring rain!!!!
Mom! What happened to the sun???????????

  10. It looks like you had some nice stretches there in the sunbeams. Sorry it is raining (again) today, but rainy days are sometimes nice, too, for curling up.

The baby spiders are actually quite fascinating, and quite practical too as they grow up and help keep some of the pesky insects in check :)

  11. Those spider pictures gave our mom the creeps...she's not fond of spiders!!!

Hope that sun comes out again soon, Mickey, and warms your furs!

  13. I have never seen something like that out here Mickey! We do have a lot of wasps who seem to like the hummingbird feeder though.

Mom does not like it when we catch spiders 'cuz she likes them. Apparently they eat flies.

I hope your sunshine comes back. If we could I would trade some of our sun for some of your rain.

  14. LOTS of baby spiders! Ha! My mom had to relocate a spider this weekend--she had a great big old egg sac and Mom thought it might be best for her to deliver somewhere else!

  15. Baby spiders are SO sweet looking!

I wouldn't be so tired of the rain except for all of the floody places and muddy places where I'd like to walk.

  17. ACK! Our Grampy would have already said ba-bye to those nasty spiders! Our Nana freaks out about spiders so Grampy take preemptive measures!

Mickey, you are looking good, buddy!
