I was rather miffed to. But now I am fed and happy so I guess it is okay if she goes away sometimes--but not for too long!

Your mom better make it up to you, being away most of the weekend. How inconsiderate. Doesn't she realize she exists only to serve your every whim? How can she do that if she's away? The nerve!
