Georgia's Polydactyl Toes

As many of you know, I have extra
toes. That means I am a polydactyl cat.

This is my front paw.
I have "mittens" or an Opposable "thumb"

This is another view. Here, my paw is upside
down (because I am relaxing on the porch)

This is my back paw.
Can you see my 6 pads?

Tillie is my sister and we are from the same litter,
however she does not have extra toes.
The extra toes do not bother me,
and Mom thinks they are cute.
To me, they are just more toes
 I need to clean,heehee
I hope you like my toes!!!

  3. Upside: Humans go crazy over extra toes. Downside: Means more cleaning work! Sounds to me like a pretty good tradeoff, Georgia!

  15. Very interesting, Georgia. I actually have the opposite problems as I only have three toes on my front right paw!

  19. A kitty who came before here, Toby, had 6 toes in front & 5 in back. His paw prints were huge! If he left a print, you knew whose it was. The mom loves all those toes!

  22. Hay, my mum and dad had 2 cats (still have one of them) with the extra toes. They were both from the same litter. I never knew there was a proper term for them though.

    Cool cats one and all!
