Julie Tuesday

Hi, Julie here, doing my very first post.

Mom dragged me to the Vet last night.I was not happy.
The first Vet I saw is on holiday, but I liked this Vet too.
She checked me all over and said I was doing very well.
I gained a whole pound and a smidge!!! Then she gave me
two needles so I do not get Feline Leukemia.
She also gave me treats! Did I say she was nice?

She looked in my mouth and my eyes and decided that I was
a young kitty, probably about 3 years old. She gave me
a birthday month too. We all agreed on April 2009.
After all, what girl does not want to be younger, heehee.
The Vets will monitor my furs to see how they grow.
Some furs are growing back, mostly on my back.
We will watch it more for allergies  after I have my
spay operation in mid August. What I want to know is this,
what is a spay operation???
Hmmmm, I think I need more food. Hey Mom... !

  10. Julie, we're glad you're doing well! But we're a bit miffed because OUR vet does NOT give us treats. Stingy cheapskates, that's what they are at our clinic.

Spay? The hardest part will be the 12 hours before, but we don't want to scare you....

  11. You've got a very nice vet Julie - we never get treats from our vet but there again watch out that there's nothing nasty tasting being hidden in them.

  12. We're so glad the vets are being nice to you, Julie.

As for spay operations, well we have both had them and, believe me, you feel a lot less "out of sorts" after them!

  16. Wonderful report! And you will get better and better and prettier and prettier furs!
We are so glad you like your vet! We loves ours.
Your ladygardenectomy (that's cat for spay operation) will be okay. After it's done you will feel a little wonkie. But that's when you get the lovies and the scritchies and lots of treats!!!
Then, my dear, you will not have any babies to worry about, just your siblings.

  17. We're glad that Julie is doing so well. Going to the vet is never fun - Luna had her annual visit last week and very upset the whole way there. But once it's over at least it's done. 3years old is a fine age :)

  22. Splendid first post, Julie! We are glad the v-e-t said you were A-OK. You are looking better already; a very beautiful girl house panther.

We have had problems with allergies; we would lick and scratch and bite our fur off. Since we are on a limited ingredient all duck diet, we are doing much better. My woman has been giving us baths to help, too. We only yell when we are being dried off. Purrs.
