Monday Musings with Georgia


 We all had a pretty good weekend here with lots  of Mom time.
We had lots of sunshine too and the temps were much cooler!


It is nice to relax on the porch when it is not humid.
 I am going to show you some pictures that explain why
Mom was home late on Friday night!
She actually made us wait for supper!
We forgave her though because she gave us some treats and 
lots of attention!


Mom stopped to see the Tall Ships in Halifax.
One of the ships was The Bounty.


When Mom was coming home she took the ferry across
 Halifax Harbour and saw the big masts of the 
US Coast Guard ship The Eagle


This ship is the Pride of Baltimore.


This is the tall ship Larinda and it has quite a story.
What happened to it was sad, but it is now restored.


This is a short history.
It says it's home port is Boutilier's Point.
That's where our furcousins live!!!!!



Look, there is a tasty frog on the bow!!!


With all the scitches and attention, I am going to enjoy
plenty of naps today!!

    OH those boats are FANTASTIC! My mom would LOVE to have seen them and your mom took great pictures too. Oh how nice for your mom to be able to go and you babies were nice about it.

    We were going to ask if your mom went to see the tall ships! Our grandma went down and took a look while her hubby was at the casino.

    And even our grandpa, who happens to be in NS with his wife, saw them late last week, the day after they flew in from Vancouver.

    Very cool to see pics, thanks for posting!

    Oh, Georgia! My woman really enjoyed those fabulous photos of the Tall ships. We had a couple here on the Great Lakes, but it was long time ago. We prefer thinking about the juicy ratsies that make their homes on such ships. Hope you have another great weekend with lots of mom time, Georgia.

    Noisy men bit holes in our ceiling yesterday, trying to find where the leaks are coming from. Luckily, it had rained hard the night before. . . We hid UTB. Purrs.

    Your Mom went to see cool ships. Did she come home with fish ? If she did not. Next time, you have to make a list for her. Late diner = Special Meal for you. to be fare..fare..I think ...tee...heh...heh
