Thunder and Hail

Hi, JJ here. Guess what??Monday afternoon
we were all hanging with Mom when it started to
get really dark! Then we heard thunder boommers!
That scared some of the kitties,so they went and hid.
I was brave and protected Mom.

Mom got her camera and caught the hail that
started to fall  on the deck !!!!

At the front of our place, you can hear the thunder
and see the rain.

Less than an hour later, the sun came out!!!
So did all the scared kitties, heeheehee

Mom went outside and took these pics of
this little rose.It is pretty much finished blooming.

We like the sun better. It's warm and we love that.
Mom says it's too warm  and she doesn't
even have fur!!!!!

  6. I hate rain, I hate thunder even more and I detest hail! That said, you probably needed some of the moisture and relief from the heat.

  9. Thunderboomies? On a holiday? That is so rude. But the rose picture is beautiful. Your mum has a real eye :)

  12. Oh we are so glad that storm didn't last long. Most of the kitties in our house also hate the noise of thunderboomers too.

  14. We had hail the other day, too! The best thing about it was that the temperature dropped almost 30 degrees after the storm.

  15. Hail is a bit ouchie if it lands on you so we are glad you were tucked away inside in the dry.

  19. We've heard the weather is weird where you are. Be careful, OK? And don't get your furs all wet.

  20. Yikes, you got hail! We had thunder boomers late last night. I was sitting on my woman's lap; it didn't bother us at all. We're glad your sun came back.

Well, the noisy roof men just looked Monday, but are coming back next week to bang around. Yes, we love belly rubs, and will come over for some when the noisy men come. Do you think you could order some sun rather than hail?

We are having near record heat (the record dates from 60 years ago), but we're itchy all year. My woman thinks air-borne allergens and, maybe, nerves too. She has read tha some kitties take OTC generic zyrtec etc. She may ask the vet next time we go. It's too hot to go right now, but she weighed us in her arms, our weight is up to a good level, finally.

  21. We meant to say that we know you're a good brother to Tillie, JJ, and now we know that you are also a good son to your mom.

  22. We think everyone could use some rain about now. Just not the lightning, the thunder or the hail!
