The Mom here. When I took Tillie to the Vet on Tuesday,
it was because she seemed to have a sore leg.
She got some medication and we went home.
That night she did not eat supper.
She lay down and did not want to move.
She was much the same Wednesday.
This morning I went back to the Vet and they did blood tests.
She is in bad shape. Her kidney values are very high.
She is in the hospital and they will give fluids to see
if they can help her feel better.
This seemed to come on suddenly, but was probably
going on for a while. They hide things so well.
Had it not been for her leg, who knows what would
have happened. It still may happen.
Please purr for my little girl.
Send lot of (((purrs))) to Tillie !

PS: Sorry we have been out of touch for so long.
We are so very sorry to hear this about your sweet Tillie. Sending our biggest purrs and prayers her way for her to feel better soon and for her health. Purrs to Mom too. (I wonder if she is still on Metacam because it affected Clooney's appetite after his dental as did antibiotics.)
ReplyDeletePlease investigate the possibliity of giving darling Tillie sub q fluids everyday at home=it is relatively quick and easy and can add years to her life if her kidneys are the issue...It might seem overwhelming at first, but I did it for my Nikki 10 years ago (my Mom did it for her cat and dog years ago too); it was not given to us as an option at first, so you may need to ask your vet about it...We will purr and pray for your beautiful sweetheart to feel better asap...hugs...J, Calle, Halle, Sukki, Mommy Cat, Daddy Cat
