Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: JJ and I are looking through the window at
the porch. Mom says it is cold out there.
JJ figures he may as well go find a cozy  spot as there is no sunshine.
I am going to the kitchen.

Hmmmm, I need to check Mom's coffee cup.
Dang, nothing in there.

 .
Oh well, I will go look out the window.

Humph, Mom was right. It does look cold outside.
There is ice on the trees!

Look at this branch!

This little bush is all ice covered too.

The trees around the driveway are ice covered.

While it looks pretty, it causes problems. Many people
have lost power because of all the ice. So far we have not
lost power. Maybe I will join JJ and find a snoozy spot too.

Why not pop over to House Panthers?
You can see Julie there today.

  10. Snoozing till the ice melts is a good idea! The trees are pretty, but we know how dangerous it can be.

  14. My beloved family! Please forgive that we have been so tardy with our visit. You left us such a sweet message on Valentine's and it kept us happy all the days since then. So much has happened here with our Lapdaddy and his surgery....he is on the mend and we are very thrilled about this needless to say. He is sleeping better and walking better...and losing a bit of weight too. This is the answer to many prayers for sure....us kitty girls are well and happy to lay in the sun puddles now. Cole will be here this summer and we look forward to that so much. Spring is here with us and we wish we could send you some too....you have ice and cold and that is dreadful for man and beast alike! Georgia has the right idea...sip some warm coffee...Miss Hope like to drink my hot chocolate:)
We love and treasure you all so much and wish you a warm sleeping spot by the fireplace.....the cozy cottage kitties...

  21. I'm just getting up (Wed.) and have the Weather Channel on, saw the snowfall and ice amounts, etc., and wanted to check in. Hope everyone stayed in and is safe and warm, that you didn't lose power. Purrs from Nicki and Derry.
