Treasure: I am ready to leave the kitchen.
Mom has that camera pointed at me.
She makes me nervous.
(everything makes me nervous)
I cannot lose eye contact with her.
Getting closer.
I'm out of the kitchen.
OK, so nothing happened!
I'm still nervous though!
Better head to the another room.
Mom: Treasure, you're afraid of your own shadow
sometimes! Not sure why, but Treasure is a really
skittish kitty.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Treasure, we don't think you are nervous. We think you just like to err on the side of caution. One never knows what dangers could pop- up as you leave the kitchen. Lions and tigers and bears - Oh My! You need COURAGE dear Treasure. You remind us if the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz. He was nervous too, until he finally found some courage and then he was never nervous again. Maybe they sell courage at the pet store & your mom could bring some home for you.

ReplyDeleteTreasure, you and Angel are a lot alike, I think! She darts off, or hangs back. We humans wait until she's all sleepy, then she purrs and purrs and we love on her and it all works somehow.

Treasure, you're a lot like our Zoey. She's afraid of everything too...though we don't understand why.
