Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Some weeks we have snow, other weeks we have rain.
This week we had rain and most of the snow is gone.
This Winter has been very up and down with
the weather. We do not usually have more rain than snow.

Since it has been rainy, I have spent more time snoozing
and hanging out with mum.
I would probably do the same think if it were snowy.

JJ often keeps me company.
He likes to keep an eye on mum too.
He is very hopeful that she will have treats for him.
She only gives them out after breakfast and supper.
Still, he remains hopeful, because you never know...

Here is Julie being hopeful too.
She is not looking for treats, she wants out on the porch!

  1. Georgia and JJ, we are with you. Hanging out with our Mum is a great thing to do, especially when it is dreary outside. And yes ... you should always keep hope alive about treats! :)

We hope Julie got at least a little porch time.

    Hugs!

  3. We, too, could send you plenty of snow. And freezing rain if you want it. :-P

Still, he remains hopeful, because you never know...

This actually is very wise: In life, we really don't ever know, so it's best to remain hopeful. (This is a lesson our human has been working on for the past couple of years, not to make assumptions about the way things will turn out, but to hang onto hope...because you truly never know.)

  4. We had rainy weekend and had a lot of snoozing time, too!
I imagine JJ gets extra treats because his hopeful face is so irresistible :-)
Happy Monday and have a great week!

  7. The rain washed away our snow too. Except we ended up with water in the basement. Glad you got lots of mum time this weekend. XO

  10. We always hope for treats too but...well, you know how that goes. Caroline gets special treats after breakfast every morning, but those are to keep things moving, if you get our drift!

  11. Amarula gets extra affectionate the colder it gets -- she also gets lots of snacks (so there just be a little extra winter weight too!)

  16. We love the idea of snoozing time together, too!
(Sam Sam does snuggle on my chest sometimes when I lie down.)

The weather back east does seem to be a bit crazy (I get reports from New York) - but it's pretty up-and-down out here, too. Sign of the times, I suppose.

  18. It is so great to be able to snooze while it rains.
    So glad you have company!

Check out my homeless cat blog archives about the abandoned/feral cat colony I manage. We have had 3 cats adopted recently. Yippy!

  19. I always look for treats to come to me after the mom and dad eat their dinner. I get to eat my dinner first when my food lady comes home from work! And she is in charge of my food and treats so I always look to her!
