Monday Musings

Georgia: I got lots of good naps this weekend.
Mum was busy doing other things so she did not
take as many pictures. This  was a good thing as
she was not chasing us around with the camera.

JJ: We did get a lot of sunshine this weekend.
It was really nice too and made the porch nice
and warm.

See, I'm telling mum how warm the porch feels.

I decided to join my little sister Julie on the couch..
We had a great afternoon in the sun !

Julie: JJ is right. The sun was warm and cozy.
I really enjoyed my time on the porch.

I also enjoyed laying in the sunon the end of the
kitchen counter.(Mum knows I get up here and has
lots of cutting boards that she uses so she is not
constantly washing the counter. ( MOL! )

When I went on the windowsill do you know what I saw?

Ducks!
They dropped by as they know mum puts out seeds..
The seeds are easy to find as  the snow is gone!
We had lots of rain last Thursday and it
washed away lots of snow.
Mum liked that as snow and ice can be very
slippery. She has slipped and fallen 3 times so far. MOL!
All in all, a pretty good weekend.

  1. Wow, you all had a great weekend. Sun on the porch is awesome! And DUCKS! That's some exciting outside TV, for sure. :)

Sorry to hear Mum has slipped on the ice three times. We hope she did not get hurt too bad!

  2. That sunshine sure looks nice! We’re supposed to get snow and then some deep freeze temperatures this week so some sun would be nice. :)

  3. How nice that you had some porch time, and not so much snow with the rain washing it away.

  6. What a wonderful, sunny weekend you had. The ducks were a bonus!

We have TONS of snow, with another big storm on the way tonight and all day tomorrow, apparently. That, coupled with bitterly cold temps, means we're not venturing out on our back step much at all. It also means our human is very, very cranky these days. :-P

    Have a good week!

Glad snow has melted - we don't want your mum to slip and fall!

  12. Sounds like your mum could use an additional pair of legs to navigate the snow and ice--you don't see cats slip-sliding all over, now, do you? MOL!

Nice that you had a sunny weekend, and with visiting ducks, too! Julie, our mom has given up keeping us off the counter tops!

  14. Sun!! We would love to see mos=re of that warm commodity. We are in the midst of a storm and bitter cold, maybe -40F wind chills. Brrr! And a big dump of snow to go along with that, and the whine to whip it all over the place. It took petcretary 45 minutes to drive the 8 miles to her work yesterday...usually it takes about 15. Today is a wee bit better, cause the plows have done some work, but its too cold for the salt to melt any ice.

Hope your Mom doesn’t fall anymore,.
