Georgia: We had a pretty quiet weekend.
Mum went to a birthday for her Grand-Niece who was
turning 1 year old.
It was pretty cold outside too and even the porch
was cool. I did not stay out here long.
Lucky for us mum has the furnace turned on !
Then Sunday night it started to rain and got really windy.
Today is still raining and windy, so I will be in the house
where it is warm and dry.
Julie: I missed mum when she was away at the party.
When she came back I got some belly rubs.
That made me happy.
I got to hang out with her on Sunday as she did chores
and other stuff.
I like having mum home and wish it was more often.
I need a belly rub.
Julie, you seem to have a belly rub theme going on here! MOL! I'm glad your human wasn't away for too long... sometimes mine disappears all night!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't sound like you will get much porch time today! Stay warm and keep getting those belly rubs.
ReplyDeleteThe weather isn't great here either today. We are hoping for better things the rest of the week.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Tama and Genji
Hmm, Julie, can we guess that you like belly rubs? :-)
ReplyDeleteBoth you stay nice and warm and cosy!
Thanks so much to your mom for stopping by to leave a message of care regarding Nicki's passing. It's deeply appreciated. Still not quite sinking in yet, so much of my home time and energy revolved around him since his asthma diagnosis. I'm starting to notice little things, like oh, I don't have to block every bottom bureau drawer to keep him out, or leave all the closet doors open (because he could open them all anyway). It'll just take time. It's hard, but you know this.
Wishing you all a wonderful week.
Kim and Derry
I hope you two keep plenty warm, it sure is snuggle season!
ReplyDeletetheo got a very thorough belly rub this morning. then he went and hacked up a hairball.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your mum’s grand niece!
ReplyDeleteGeorgia, it’s the best to stay warm and dry inside the home. And Julie, I wish I could be there to give you a belly rub when your mum is away :-)

WHAT?!? Kitties, you allowed your mom to do chores, when she SHOULD have been spending that time doting on you two? Don't let the Cat Union hear about that!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for a warm dry house! Stay happy, girls!
ReplyDeleteGirls...momma had some business to take care of. But she's ready to rub bellies and smooch some beautiful little girls. XXOO
ReplyDeleteYour mom needs to do less chores and give more belly rubs!
ReplyDeleteSorry your mum had to abandon you to go to a party. Thank you for the kind words you left on my blog for the loss of KaTwo. XO
ReplyDeleteLess chores, more belly rubs? Is that what you're lobbying for, Julie? Sounds good to us. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Georgia!
Love you you both, and Mum, too!
Less chores and more belly rubs sounds like a good program ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteI could help out with those tummy rubs!
ReplyDeleteIt's turned cold here too, but also really windy! We will go out in coldish, but we really hate windy... Ruffles our furs bad.
ReplyDeleteHaving someone home to give belly rubs is nice. Our heater has been on for a while. We're not as cold as you, but it's in the 40s overnight so it's nippy.
ReplyDeleteWe always enjoy hearing from you two ladies. Purrs dear friends
