Snow,Rain and Indoor Cats!

After all the snow on Wednesday, this is what is left.
We had  lots of rain since Friday.
Sunday was rain and freezing rain.
Today there is some sun, but it is cold again.

The Sunday rain did not deter these ducks from coming
up for some seeds.

A rainy day is purrfect for taking it easy.

I am quite good at taking it easy too.

Julie: Do you want to know what I'm going to do?

If you guessed watching for those silly squirrels
you would be right!

Not even rain will keep them indoors!
That's why they are silly.
Why get wet if you don't have to,right?

  2. We had serious WARMS over the weekend and spent as much time in the fenced backyard as possible! TBT warned us it wouldn't last long, so we enjoyed it.

  3. You both look nice and cosy indoors. Leave that weather for the squirrels and ducks.

  4. You always have such interesting kitty tv to watch!

We had almost 41 mm of rain on Saturday, followed by a short period of freezing rain, then a drop with a cm of snow. It's freezing today, things still are icy. Crazy winter weather.

  7. Hi Georgia, taking it easy is the best way to spend a rainy day! And Julie, it sure is fun to watch those silly squirrels :-)
I hope you all have a wonderful new week!

  8. Georgia, years ago, we had a male & female duck pair looking 'round our backyard, hoping to nest! We didn't think The 'O' Cats would be very good hosts, so we discouraged them from using our leaf pile for any future eggs. And Julie, if a squirrel gets up on our front porch, Da Boyz go bat sh*t crazy!

  9. We had similar weather too...I looked at the radar and the same storm we had was all the way to you over there in Nova Scotia! That is a long trail for a storm to take.

We stayed inside and chillaxed most of the time...or pestered petcretary for treats.

Have a good week...weather or not:)

  15. We expect rain here on Thursday. Today, our squirrel got a bit too comfortable and came right up to my screen door. Dad chased him away.

  16. We had epic winds (55-65 MPH here Sunday night and rain like sandblasting it rained so hard and the wind blew it accordingly. Girls, I was tucked up snug too.

  17. Wow, you really had some crazy weather! Georgia and Julie, you two have the right idea, for sure. It's way better to be inside and warm. :)

Hugs to you both, and to Mum, too!
