A Weekend on the Porch

Georgia: We had a pretty nice weekend.
It was hot and muggy .

I enjoyed my time on the porch.
I do not get around as much anymore.
At 17, I am slowing down.
I did like the window breezes though.

Julie: I like looking out the window.
Today I wish I could get outside.
Want to know why?

Because I would really like to chase those ducks!!!

Know what else I saw outside?

This big thunder shower!!!
It was pouring and there were boomies and rumbles!
Yet across the lake, there were blue skies!

You might be able to see the rain if you biggify the picture.

The storm did not last long and then the sun came back.

All in all, it was a good weekend except that
Mum's vacation is over. Dang!!!!!!
Now I don't get belly rubs all day!!

  14. Julie, ya DONT wanna catch a duck! They are meaner than they look. TBT says Skeeter pounced one once and regretted it.

  15. I am 15 1/2 and yes, I too am slower than my kittenhood, but I can and do still tell those hooligans who is the real boss, MOL!!

Georgia and Julie, you are very pretty and your porch is an pawsome place to watch critters and sunbathe, the best of both worlds:)

Hope the back to work went fine...we here hope Pawppy can get back to work next Monday, Aug3...he's been furloughed since may for that nasty evil virus mess...

  16. Girls, you look so smoochable and pettable, I don't know how your mom can go back to work. BUT green papers are necessary for foods for you three and for the birdies and groundhogs and squirrels.

  17. Georgia I know what you mean. Slowing down is all part of the big plan I guess. Julie that storm looks wild. Hope it made the plants happy and cooled things off

  19. Georgia, you are looking lovely for a 16-year old lady cat. I'm 16 too. Julie, it would be fun to chase the ducky but would you want to get wet?

  20. Those ducks look tasty! Can you believe that my Momma goes across the street to visit the ducks in the park and she doesn't bring me back any? ~Bear Cat

  21. From Toffee Cat: Don't like ducks - too flappy and quacky. But it's good you have plenty of things to look at. You are a lovely girl.

  22. We think your Mum should have another vacation soon. I am sure it's WAAAAAAAY more fun for her to serve you than to go to a boring old j-o-b.
