Hey look what we saw this week!!
We saw a red finch.They do not visit often.
The red finch is sharing the feeder with
a yellow finch. We see the yellow finch most often.
While it was neat to see these birds, we had
to do it from inside as we are not allowed out.
Darn!!
Georgia is enjoying some treats in her room.
She is not eating well, but she is eating some.
Mum is watching her carefully.
Julie: Darn! Mum caught me with the camera.

From one senior Tortie to another, I sure hope Georgia is okay. You both enjoy some extra time with the mom this week!

I'm guessing that that 'red' finch is really a Purple Finch; I looked it up and your photos are really very good. Which I'd see one myself; so pretty.

ReplyDeleteThe red finch is very pretty! We see yellow finches but I have never noticed red one. Though, there are some kind of red birds. They may be finches.

That Red Finch is really cool! We got the Goldfinch channel here today -- he hing out on our back deck for quite some time. :)

We don't know why, but this year the finches are ignoring their bird feeder. Maybe more people cooped up at home have put out feeders so they're eating somewhere else. I miss the bird t.v.
gorgeous birds! would love to have them at my feeder!
