Mum: Well, today is our city's birthday and we call it Natal Day.
I am off today.

Julie: You are staying home? Oh boy! Treats,belly rubs ,porchtime,treats!!Yeah Hoo!!!!!
Mum: Cats, easy to please sometimes !!

Happy Natal Day!! I remember that from the two summers I was living there, it was fun, they had tall ships in the harbour, which is way different looking these days, and not as 'public friendly'...and they had peeps in period costume and a town crier, etc. Do they still do that?

Our #1 tells us that Halifax is a lovely city, and she has been there many times (even had dental surgery there!). So we send fond birthday wishes, and enjoy having your Mum at home!

ReplyDeleteSince she retired two years ago, my Human is around ALL the time. And I mean ALL. Mostly it is nice and the service has really improved, but I do get a little tired of being awakened from a good nap cause she needs to play with my footie or scratch my head. Sigh.
