Cats and Critters

Julie: It was a pretty good weekend !
Mum was home and I got lots of cuddles, scritches
and brushings!I love getting brushed!
It was also a weekend for lots of critters too.
Some are cool, some mum is not thrilled about. MOL!

This guy has been on the porch for the past week.
Mum is not fond of this critter and would love for
it to move outside!
So far, it it stays where it is, it will be safe...

Here we see the squirrel family.
No doubt eating seeds mum puts out.

It is another sign of Spring when the Groundhog
shows up...

and the bugs come by.

The mourning dove dropped by too.

At dusk, the deer dropped by to enjoy some grass.

I know she liked it as mum brought me some grass

earlier in the day.It was really good

Me, I enjoyed a nice afternoon nap!

  2. When my human saw that spider she got something called "the heebee jeebees!" MOL! Even though she actually likes spiders (well, except black widows). I'm glad you had a good weekend.

  5. Okay, the biped could NOT rest easy with that spider out there. OMC!!!!!!!! She would have to get someone to come and remove it, take it FAR away. Seriously. Your mom is brave, Julie!

Your four-legged and winged visitors are MUCH better!

  6. I love all your visitors but I too would rather the spider move on out to see his friends and family.

  7. If that spider was in our house we’d all be spending time in a motel.

  8. That's sure a lot of interesting critters sweet Julie! If your Dad saw that spider he'd not be able to sleep.

  11. Yeah, even our mom (who doesn't even mind black widows) would not want to have that one around! You had excellent TV though!

  14. Ack, that spider looks huge. We're not fans of spiders, especially in the house. And Black Widow spiders get killed no matter where they are.

  15. It sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. You sure have some pretty amazing critters that hang around your house. That is one big spider. That would scare us for a second if we didn't see it right away. Thanks for sharing. Have a great rest of your day.

  16. We are glad you and Mum had a good weekend, sweet girl. Everyone looks great, Julie, except maybe the spider. Aw, heck, we guess it looks great, too (for a spider). LOL

  17. What a weekend it looks like you had yourselves, Julie. I see spiders around here and watch them from a distance, and I try to play with them if they're close enough. Dad says he saw a white squirrel for the first time ever during one of their hikes last week. Your last picture is right up my alley!!
