Julie: This week I was able to get outside again!
It is quite nice to see and hear the sounds outside.
I also like all the different smells too.
I had some good viewing too!
I saw these birds at the feeder.
They are American Goldfinches.
This is a Downey Woodpecker.
It was looking for bugs.
I like being outside and watching the wildlife.
I don't try to chase anything as that would make
mum take me inside. I'm content to look. However,
I think mum is looking at a harness, just in case ;)
It is nice to get out in the fresh air, Julie.

ReplyDeleteOh no, not the dreaded harness! You poor girl. I do not like mine. We've got lot of critters right here in our yard, too, but they seem to be mostly bluebirds and cardinals. Dad was out in the driveway two mornings ago and heard a clicking sound, and down the driveway sauntered a lone deer. Just yesterday afternoon mom was sunning out in the front yard when she heard a rustling in the edge of the woods and out came a deer! She just wandered across the lawn, but by the time mom slipped in to grab here phone and came back out she was already gone. Won't be the last time, I'm sure.

ReplyDeleteJulie you have a lot to explore in your yard! Mom says one time she had me in her arms and opened up the door and I clawed to get away .... she said I must have thought I was going to be put out, she thought I'd like to see the outside boy was she wrong!

Love the birds- such good cat TV- we have a couple of house wrens nesting so cats get lots of good tv!
