Finally Friday with Julie

Julie: Well, it has been quite the week.
The temperatures have been up and down.
We have had sun and rain and cold!
Once again our snow is gone.
This week has been OK, downright COLD,
rainy and now back to  cold.
We are expecting sun for the next 3 days then
back to snow on Monday.
Strange as it may seem, mum says it is warmer when it snows!
These are good times to be indoors where it is cozy and warm.
I am a lucky kitty to have a cozy home.

Now, I look forward to the weekend and lots of brushings
and belly rubs!!
That will be SO much FUN!!!

What will you be doing this weekend?

  1. I agree, you are so lucky to be an inside cat, Julie. It only gets rainy here, but I wonder about the outside kitties getting wet.

  2. We have had rain and snow
The snow fell but the rain made it go
The ice was nice if ya like it
But our driveway is downhill, so ya risk a butt- hit.

We're glad our driveway is asphalt
The snow melts faster on a dark spot.
But still, ya gotta be careful
A liitle ice lands you on yer buttful.

    MOL!

  3. Mr Mark, that s genius!! MOL!

Julie, we too are glad to be warm and inside in these wintry days.

Glad you too are inside and that you are going to have a super time with your Mum and lots of brushies:)

  4. A weekend full of brushings and belly rubs sounds like the purrfect weekend if you ask me. Me, I'll likely be lounging like I do on that electric blanket as much as I can. Mom and dad are supposed to be off hiking as long as the snow and ice didn't wreak havoc on the trails, so that means the blanket will be off until they return. Hope your weekend is nice and snuggly, dear girl.

  5. We are getting nice sunny weather but it is only +1C and the water run off from the fields is building up the ice in the lane. Not as bad as a few years ago when the ice got to 8 inches deep!

  6. We had about 46 cm of snow this week, 42 cm in one go, then a few more cm on Wednesday too. Now we have lovely sunshine, but the windchill is below minus 30. So we'll be inside this weekend staying WARM!

Wishing you both a lovely, cosy weekend!

  7. We agree that being inside cats rocks, especially when it's cold outside!

    Enjoy your weekend, Julie!

  10. It’s cold here too, Julie. At least we had sunshine today so I could lie in a sunpuddle. ~Ernie

  13. Oh yes, Julie, we are having that same see-sawing weather here. Right now, we are back to super cold. Stay warm and you and Mum have fun this weekend, okay? XO

  15. It's been the same here. Colder a chunk of ice. I got frustrated with mom this morning about brushies , she was concerned about something else. Then, he concerned lifted a little and she called me saying "brushie? Brushie"? and here I came straight to her.

  17. Are you sitting on snow, or a white rug. Barry. I have never seen snow. You had better keep the food bearers indoors unless they need to need to get your essential cat supplies.

  18. Sorry. I mean Julie. Spellcheck got me.
