Spring is here, but it's still COOL!

Julie: I wanted to go outside.
Mum said it was pretty cool.
I wanted to go anyway.
As you can see, the grass is not growing yet.
Darn!!

Oh yeah, mum was right... it was quite cool outside.
Gee, Spring takes a long time to warm up!
At least it's always nice indoors.

  2. We are getting lovely blue skies every day, but it has still been quite cold with a strong northerly wind. Today it is supposed to warm up to 12°. I hope they are right.

  3. It's great to be able to get out again, though, Julie. It's still cool here too, but it's great to have most of the snow gone, except for the banks and the thick ice patches. Soon we'll see green grass!

  11. I think our grass might have died during last summer’s drought. The backyard mud is coming along quite nicely though.

  13. Petcretary remembers the 2 springs she had while living in Halifax...they seemed to take forever to get started and then they just exploded into full blown spring with all its glory. Esp in the gardens at the big park in the middle of the city...She forgot its name, but the azaleas there were so gorgeous!

Hang in there Julie, soon enough your grass will green up into the tender shoots you love to nibble on:)
