Welcome Back to the Chipmunk!

Julie: While mum was looking out of the kitchen
window she saw the chipmunk.
She was quite happy  to see it  as there are lots
of squirrels around!

We are not sure if this critter will stay around, but if he
does, there will be lots of tasty seeds and sunflower
seeds. He may have to put up with birds though.
They like to drop by for a bit.

Earl the Squirrel is pretty good at chasing
competitors away. He is pretty greedy when it comes
to foods. Not one to share.

Having said that, I must say that I don't like to share
my food either. If you want something, you need your own
bowl. MOL!
See? I will share as long as it is in another bowl.

When I am done, I can watch Critter TV.
I really have a great view and 2 wonderful
windows for my viewing pleasure.
Have a great day friends.

Oh, mum has some exciting news(for her)
that we will share on Friday!

  1. I wish we had chipmunks in our area - sadly, we don't.

  2. That's a funny looking cat... Oh, it's a chipmunk. We don't get chipmunks here in the UK. Thank goodness - I have enough trouble chasing the squirrels, birds and rabbits out of my garden without having to deal with chipmunks too!!

  4. Julie, the other day I noticed something on the truck of the tree I was sitting next too...but it wasn't a squirrel, it was a brown creeper bird!
They start at the bottom of the trunk and climb up in their quest for snacks.
    Cool!

  5. We don't have any chipmunks in our yard (or squirrels either). Mom says they are scared of Kozmo and me. You are one lucky cat! And we are envious that you don't have to share food dishes! Thanks for visiting us and we hope you guys have a marvellously happy week! Purrs Marv

  9. Cute Mr Chippie! Look at those bulging cheeks, LOL!

The red squirrels here, too are very greedy and they chase even birds away. Not to mention another little rodents.

We sometimes have little ground squirrels here, they are like small striped gophers.

  10. My mom is even more crazy about chipmunks than I am! And that's something. Yours is so nice and chubby! You would love to hold him...but he'd chew through your fingers.

  11. That's a pretty cute chipmunk. We don't have chipmunks in Europe and it's a shame. They clearly make for good viewing!
