Julie: Well I went to the Vet but did not have ant treatment.
I am a bit dehydrated, and the needle would not stay in my vein
So, for the next week, mum will try to get me to drink more
and try some things to het me hydrated so
we can try hext week.
All suggestions welcome
I bought a new fountain and all three are drinking more water… it’s filtered so I’m guessing it tastes better…
ReplyDeleteGood luck… we’re setting positive thoughts your way…
Fountains are supposed to be appealing to drink more. You could also try putting Julie's water in a bigger bowl? We really like to drink out of Ollie's bowl.
ReplyDeleteWe are crossing our paws that you can get the treatment next week, Julie.
Purrs,
The Chans
A big bowl might work, we call our The Pond and we all like it. Good luck sweetie, have lots to drink please and y'all keep warm up there.
ReplyDeleteWe have given sub-Q fluids to kitties who didn't drink enough...but that might open a whole new problem. We send purrayers and POTP that one of the other suggestions will help Julie get more hydrated. Has she ever been interested in drinking from a running faucet ? One of my kitties loves that but will not even look at a fountain.
ReplyDeleteFeel better, sweet girl! Sending lots of purrs, prayers, and love...
ReplyDeletePurring for you, Julie.
ReplyDeleteI mix water into the wet food; it may be a bit slurry-like, but the cats lap it up and I get plenty of peeballs in the litterboxes.
Hi Julie!
ReplyDeleteCarmine loves his fountain. He also loves Hydra Care. It tastes like chicken liver (I think) and helps kitties stay hydrated. Carmine and Tylan both drink it everyday for their kidney disease.
I hope your mom can get some more fluid into you. <3

ReplyDeleteWishing you a very Merry and Happy Holiday!
Do you have a fountain, Julie? Maybe that would help. Do you eat wet food? Could Mum add some water, and make it a little soupy for you?
