Deer in my yard!!

Julie: Spring in Nova Scotia is unpredictable.
We can have multiple seasons in a couple
of days. We had a snow day...

Then a sunny day. That brought out the viscous deer!
I wad glad to ne indoors!
Mum assures me that deer do not eat cats.
All the same, I was happy to be inside as
those deer are way bigger than me!

They had some fun near the birdfeeder.
There was seed on the ground.

After a while, they decided to go back to
their home in the woods.

I think they will be back at some point!
I will be watching!

  1. Before we installed a fence for our MJF, we saw a lot of deer in our yard, some were so close we could have reached out the windows to touch them...as if they'd allow that, LOL!

  2. It is a good idea to keep a can of Vishus Deer Repellent handy just in case, Julie.

  3. We think you would be safe from the deer, Julie. And it must have been fun to get to watch them!

  4. Julie, we have deer here that come right up to the window and look in at me when I'm lying on Lynn's legs. I used to growl at them now I barely blink. They're such big but silly things. Precious

  6. Deer watching can be fun ... as long as you're safely inside. Surprised though at how close they are to your house ...

    Happy Easter to you all.

  11. I didn't know you lived in Nova Scotia. My parents have always thought it would be a fascinating place to live.

  12. We are glad your snow is done.

We dont get close up to the vishus deer because they are afraid to jump over the tall fence. They get into the neighbor yards and that is close enough.

  13. Hmm, I know we're like a gazillion miles apart, but that looks like the same pair that was in our yard just the other day. Here's hoping your weather stays nice and warm soon!
