Easy Like Sunday?

Ah,Sunday! Things are Easy Like Sunday.

Tillie is curled up tight in a big snooze.

Georgia is the same.

Easy like Sunday? Well it would be except for the noise outdoors!!

A neighbour is taking down a dead tree that is clearly rotting.

The tree was damaged by Hurricane Juan in 2003. Now it was in danger of falling.

Too bad about the tree, but what an improvement in the view!

You can see Lake Echo, covered in ice & snow(but not safe for skating)

The big ,noisy chainsaw sounded scary.I'm glad I was indoors!!

  3. Those must be terrible noises! I am glad you can get some rest though and that your view will be better!

  4. We've got to agree - chainsaws are definitely very noisy and very scary - smart move to stay inside while it was roaring outside! That's a nice view you've got, although we're not sure about all of the cold white stuff - staying inside while it's around is a good idea too.

  5. Those guys are certainly energetic! It is good, though, to have the trees with the rotten cores removed. We don't like loud noisy machines either.

  6. Our dad uses one of those noisy tree eaters too. We don't mind it though. We usually watch him, but mum makes us watch furrom indoors in case the tree attacks us.
It looks furry pretty where you are.

  8. We are glad your view is improved, but we are sorry about the loud noises. We are all cuddled up in laps and staying warm. I think we are doing a good job of being easy like Sunday, what do you think?

  9. I so hate loud noises. Can you imagine just a few months ago they did that to several trees in MY yard...for much the same reasons but still...

Happy belated birthday to your mommy. It sounds like you guys gave her a great gift (and cakes snicker) of getting along.

  19. Goodness, a chainsaw would be very loud! Loud noises make me glad that I'm hard of hearing (I'm deaf on my blue eyed side).

You kitties look very cozy! *smile*

  20. I love your little snoozy drawer, Mickey! I wish I could do that, but every time I open one and pull stuff out so there's room for me, my mom gets all cross.

What a big tree. I bet they were out there for a long time cutting that up. Sorry you had to listen to it. I can't stand that noise myself.
