Easy Like Sunday

Sunday is a wonderful day to kick back and have a good snooze!
I love to sink into puffy softness!

Warm and cozy.

Shiney too! Know what it is? A sleeping bag!!!

Mom had it out one day and saw me sleeping on it.

She saw how much I liked it, so left it out for me all Winter.

As you can see, there is still bits of snow on the ground.

That did not deter this Colt's Foot from flowering though!
While mostly considered an invasive plant is does have medicinal uses.
Apparently ,it is good for colds and asthma.
It just grows randomly around the property though .

  1. Looks snuggly there! SS's duvet is not out yet. Maybe soon, I hope!

If it is cold everywhere, then where has the warm weather gone?

  2. That sleeping bag looks very comfy, Mickey. I would never have guessed that's what it was. Our snow has finally all melted and the tulips are coming up. I like the picture of the colt's foot.

  4. Oh my beloved! How I've missed you. Look at you so cozy in your sleeping bag. How did Maureen O'Hara say that in the old movie The Quiet Man? She called it a maalaekudelsa...did you see that? it is mommies favorite John Wayne movie. The colts foot is so sweet...a yellow harbinger of Spring.
The tiny glass kitty is so pretty. The sisters are so gentle with it.
I love your Archive meme answers. It was precious that you linked to me....oh but the photo, gosh I look so scrauny in it. Not my best shot...maybe I was coming off of being so sick then. I am so much better now. The Paul Newman kitty food seems to agree well with me and mommy said my furs is nice and oily again.
Well I better off to dream land now. Tomorrow I hope for a sunny snooze in the big window...daydreaming of you and summer to some
    Love your sunshine

  24. Oh still a bit of snow, brrrrr.
You are very fortunate to have a sleeping bag. Your mom is not using it and it certainly needs to be used!
Good thing you are there to do that.
what is the use of having something if you do not use it, right?
You looks super comfy and handsome there on that silky bag!

The yellow flower is very sweet. It makes me smile. Nice photo!!

  27. I think we meowed too soon. Right after we said all our snow was mostly gone, that very morning when the OTW opened the blinds for us before going to bed, there was SNOW! It all melted by the time she got up, but she said bad words at the Polar Bear/Big One anyway. Heeheehee!

Lucky you, plants growing already. Everything here is still dead, so the vishus deers are still coming down from the hill and prowling the neighbourhood!

    ~Jack

PS, you've got your human well-trained, leaving out stuff you like. It took me years to get my OTW to do that, and we're still working on the Big One.
