Mancat Monday

This Mancat is looking at Mom and asking
how she could go away and leave this face!!!!
I like to give Mom a hard time, but it's OK,
she comes home and spoiles me.I like that !!!!!

The big fire is pretty much out.

The firefighters are still dumping water on the hotspots.

Here are some pictures of the destruction .

Even the power poles were scorched!!!!!!!!!!!

The fire did not, however, destroy everything!

  1. We are still smelling the smoke from the Napa fire. It's about 10 miles from us.

Oh how I missed you today and yesterday. Mommy has been so busy out in the garden...at least she comes to sit on the patio for a rest so I get some lap time with her.
I hope you were not to lonely while your mommy was away...I thought about you all the time.
So glad the fire is out and the land can regain her beauty next season.

That fire was awful, but it's good to see some life amongst the ashes!

  7. We are glad to see the fire is almost gone. Here the people are burning the rubbish in the streets every day, just right now again (it smells so disgusting), but somehow there is never a big fire coming out of this.

  11. We're glad the fire is (almost) out. And that is something that does happen in wildfires: not everything is destroyed and new life springs up quickly.

We hope our other friends near fires are safe, too.

Oh, and that is a very handsome photo :)

  14. Wow! You are so handsome Mickey! I do not understand how your Mom could go away and leave you.

Fires are very scary! The fire danger here is so high that my Daddy cannot go camping at his favorite sites because the national forests are closed.

We are doing OK over here. I might have some news on my blog later today if I can get Mom to let me stay on the 'puter long enough to post it.
