Cats and Critters #3

Julie: When you get up early, you get to see
interesting things.
Sunday morning, mum and I saw this deer.
It was happily eating the hosta! MOL!

The duck family dropped by for some seeds mum put out.
The ducklings are getting quite big now.

Earl, as usual, entertained us with his
acrobatics!

 Quite the determined character!

He really likes those seeds !

These Mourning Doves were just grazing, to see
what goodies they could find.

Mum changed the hummingbird feeders
but the hummers have not been back since
she put them out. They are quite fast!

She did capture ME having a drink though.
Staying hydrated is important in the Summer.
Mum says it will be a HOT week with a mix
of sun and rain.
Thursday is Canada Day, so mum gets to
stay home with me.

Is it Thursday yet? MOL!!!

  1. Petcretary is also taking Thursday off to celebrate Canada Day...here in Michigan. LOL!

We are having our annual balloon festival and Field of flight air show, and they have planned to have fireworks on both July 1 and July 4th. Imagine that! They are celebrating Canada Day, maybe because there are quite a few Canadians living here on account of Kellogg's having their headquarters here...

You did get to see a lot of critter TV, Julie!

  3. Julie, you know what we see in our backyard...mosquitoes!
I have bites all over my feet and legs, but don't recall how or when they got there.
We've had high heat (not as bad as some part of Canada) and high humidity.
When I get outside to walk the 'hood, it's like I'm swimming, and I will only go out when it's early in the morning.
But, the backyard has bugs and they bite.

  9. What great Critter TV you have, Julie! The deer come to our house at night and they eat the flowers in the flower pots on our porch. It makes the mom mad because now the pots look naked.
