Yet Another Storm!

Julie: Well, mum is home today.
That is because we are getting another storm!
This storm will be different as it will be an
ice storm!
Yup, we will be getting rain that will change to
freezing rain as the temperature drops.
It is expected to last into Saturday!
We will be covered with ice!

Mum and I will be warm as long as the power stays on.
With lots of ice, it is quite likely we will lose power.
Some parts of our province have already lost power!
This storm will last for more than 24 hours!
We may be offline a while if we lose power.

Better charge your batteries mum and fill up the water jugs!
No power is no FUN !!

  1. We hope your power stays on, Julie. *Fingers crossed*!

Here we had some freezing rain the night before last, just 3mm, and then FINALLY got the dumping of snow last night. The biped just got in from shoveling....We both are SO DONE with winter 2022!!!!!

    Stay warm, stay safe!!!

Here's hoping that your power stays on, and that you and your mum are snug as bugs in a rug.

  6. I hope the storm isn’t too bad for you, Julie. We had 2 days of snow…about 8-9 inches. Everything is white! ~Ernie

  8. Miss Julie, I do hope that is a warm, white blankie you're sitting on in the first photo and not a pile of white snow! Wouldn't want those purrty bottom furs to get cold and wet now would we ... y'all be safe and sound whatever comes your way!

  9. MY mom is so grateful she doesn't have to struggle with ice any more. She lives in a high up place and we get frequent ice storms. Trying to get to work is a "no"unless someone can somehow come and get you, Makes you also wish all electric and utility wires were underground.
XX Be careful you two. Julie you look especially beautiful in your over the shoulder look. A true classic.

  13. Oh, wow, ice is far worse than snow, which is bad enough. Hope the power stayed on.
