Julie: It is pretty warm outside, so I sit in the shade.
Mum does not like me to be out too long.
I do not go far as it is hot and the grass is long
and not very tasty. It also needs to be mowed!
For now, I am content to sit in the shade and
listen to the outdoor sounds.
In a while, I will go in and sit on the porch sofa and
maybe have a little snooze. Mum says we may have a thunder shower tonight! It would be nice if it takes
away the sticky air! August is coming and it is usually
a less humid month.

We get enough warmth out on the deck or lawn. Ayla likes the deck. Laz and Lori like the lawn in shade. Marley pretty much stay inside these days. TBT does some "stuff" outside but stops every 30 minutes to rest indoors for 15.
I hope you can keep cool, Julie. Our temperatures are below average for the time of year at around 17-18. The humidity is very high being 95% most days. High humidity is normal for us though.
We heard from our friends on the Island that it has been really hot and humid there too. We hope it cools down and dries off soon! Here, it is cool and fairly rainy!

Looks like a nice cozy spot for you for short spells, Julie. It hasn't been too bad here, but these past few days the heat's been intensifying a bit for around here. I sure hope that wherever we end up moving to I'll get to have at least a taste of the outdoors, even if only from behind a screen or something.
I, too, hope August is less hot and sticky! Today is supposed to be our last really humid day, at least for the short term. Enjoy your shade, Julie, and the outdoor sights and smells!
I'm just an indoor kitty, but even sitting by my window for "whiffies" is not too pleasant these days. Mine Mommy's phone surprised her with 3, yes 3 ... "alerts" today! It said: Excessive Heat Warning, Air Quality Alert and Extreme Storm Warning. WOW, it's just not nice out there anymore.
We still have the hots but we're getting rain every afternoon too.

Its quite hot and muggy here, too...though not as hot as some peeps are experiencing. We have had a lot of loud thunder and lightening along with downpours...and it makes the roads steam, they are so hot!

It's been really hot and stuffy here for over a fortnight. Today, it is slightly cooler ("only" 30 C instead of 37!) but tomorrow, they say the tempurratures will go up again!
We have the hots here too Julie. But it rained super hard last night.
