Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Well, Monday is here again so another week is starting.

As an indoor cat, I do not mind that it is Winter.

The climate indoors is quite cozy.

I have many comfy places to sleep and a great companion

in my big brother JJ.

Outdoors is another matter.Saturday was very cold.

On Friday it got warm during the day,then the 

temperatures dropped quickly at night.

There was a "flash freeze" and now the snow is as 

hard as ice!

Mum still went outside to put  out birdseed.

These ducks were happy.

It is not easy to tell from this picture,but the 

landscape is frozen solid.

The forecast for today(Monday)?... Rain!

Rain and frozen ground do not mix well.

Mum should have a fun time getting to work

We will think about her as we  snooze indoors. MOL!

Here is Julie doing her best(and succeeding) at not

looking at the camera!

Finally Friday

Georgia: It's Friday  and that is good.

It means the weekend will begin.

Please excuse me for not looking at you.

Mum gave us some treats and I cannot resist.

JJ : That's right Georgia. Treats are such things.

We look forward to them after supper.

Julie: I love treats too. I also love hanging with mum,

scritches,the porch,naps,warm floor vents,toys,snoozes...

Well, you all understand.After all most of you are cats !!

We all like fun too.

We hope you do too.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia:  On a rainy weekend, I like to snooze,especially when

mum is busy doing  things like laundry,tidying up ,

computer stuff and reading.

Mum was going to wash this sleeping bag and had tossed

it on this chair. I found it and it was comfy,so I

claimed it for a snooze.

Mum will have to wash it later.

JJ and Julie found comfy spots on the porch.

There was not much to see outside due to the rain.

A few squirrels and birds were around, but they decided to

snooze instead. I don't blame them.

Julie is looking at mum and asking if she will be 

reading her book soon.

Julie loves to snooze on mum's lap when mum reads.

Mum told her she will read after lunch.

Georgia's Thoughts on the Past Weekend

Georgia: IT WAS COLD!

I spent most of the weekend here on this

nice warm vent.

It was sunny but it was cold and there was a wind chill!

JJ was not impressed with the cold either.

He hunkered down on some fleecy blankies.

Mum gad to go out in the cold to go to the Vet.

She went to pick up some meds that JJ and I are taking.

On the way, she saw these geese in the lake!

There were 5 of these guys.

I cannot imagine them in the water,let alone cold water!

While it was cold this weekend, we have had mild days 

and rain and lots of thick fog.

As you can see, it took away a lot of the snow.

We hope more goes away as it will be a bit warmer.
