Monday with Mum

 

Julie: Happy Monday!

It is happy for me as mum is home!

We are just chillaxing and enjoying each  other's

company.

Later, I will get some brushings  and I always

look forward to those. 

Mum put some birdseed out and not long after

the ducks showed up!

I like to watch the ducks, but I like to watch mum more.

She will make another coffee and then I will get those

brushings. They make my body tingle and my

soft furs even softer. Do you like getting brushed?

 

Long Weekend for Heritage Day

Julie: Hey mum, the weekend is starting and we have an 

extra day to have FUN!

Yup! An extra day as Monday is a holiday!

In our province, we call it Heritage Day and every year 

we honour a person(s) who made a  difference.

Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada!!

Julie: Try as I might, mum will not let me out.

I really do  not know what  being "dark outside"

has to do with me !

What do you think?

Since I can't go out, perhaps you could give me
some treats, or play with me, or give me some

belly rubs! I am actually easy to please.

I vote for treats and belly rubs.

This weekend is Thanksgiving in Canada.

Mum will be spending Thanksgiving Monday

with family, but I am sure she will bring me some

special treats.Yes, I think I like turkey.

It tastes like chicken,right? I like chicken.

I like the extra mum day and so does mum.

So! Let's get this weekend started!!!!!!!!!

Best of all, it will be FUN!!!!

 

Friday Long Weekend!!!!

Georgia: Happy Friday friends!

We had a pretty good week and now we look forward

to a pawsome weekend!

Why?

Because it is our Thanksgiving weekend!!!!!!!!

 JJ: That's right Georgia. Thanksgiving is here and that means

mum will be home an extra day!

That means  mote scritches and treats!!

Julie: I would like some treats now please!

I also would like belly rubs.

It is such FUN when mum is home for extra days.

This weekend will be FUN!!!!!!

Happy Monday with a Celebration!

Georgia:  Happy Monday friends.

We enjoyed the weekend.It was mighty warm too.

I was on the porch and got a really nice  brushing!

I love getting brushed a lot.

Mum got a lot of fur with the Zoom Groom too.

She can brush me anytime with that because I 

love getting brushed!

Julie and JJ were happy too.

They both enjoyed a good snooze .

Summertime is so nice. We love the heat and lazy days.

Well, maybe not the super hot days we had ,

but the ones with nice breezes.

We all enjoyed some lazy days.

We are happy because mum is home too!

She is off because it is Natal Day.

That means we are celebrating our city's birthday.

Happy Birthday Canada!

Georgia: We are enjoying Canada day with mum!

So far it is not too bad as the rain we are getting

will not start until after supper.

Julie and I are enjoying the porch.

Julie loves looking out the window at all the critters and birds.

She likes to pose and not look at the camera MOL!

I am more interested is seeing what mum is doing.

I do not mind looking at the camera...sometimes.

JJ is just going to hang out and hope that mum delivers 

some treats to him. He thinks there should be 

Canada Day treats!

Naturally we all agree!

We purr your Monday is going well !

Canada Day Long Weekend!!

Georgia:  JJ and I are waiting for the day to end

and for mum to get home. Then we will start the 

long weekend!!

Yes, an extra day with mum as we will be 

celebrating Canada's birthday!

It will be a bit rainy and it is rainy today and will be tomorrow.

Then the rest of the weekend improves! WooHoo!

We are looking forward to lots of cuddles and hugs

and scritches and treats.

JJ: Huh? Did somecat say treats?

I like treats! I like scritches too!

I like it when mum is home too.

Julie: I am SO happy mum will be home for 3 days!

I love following her around and getting scritches and belly rubs.

I love to have FUN!

Mum, you can practise rubbing my belly. I'm ready!

Yup! WE are celebrating Canada Day this weekend.

Canada will be 152 years old on July 1st!

That will be FUN !

Holiday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends. The weekend is over but because

today is Victoria Day we have mum home with us.

I love extra mum days. She decided that it was time I had

a good brushing too.

 Just look at all the fur she got.I love brush sessions as it

 feels like a massage session.Mum, I want more!

JJ and I often snooze together.

He likes to lean on me as you can see here.

He is a great brother.

As you know, Julie loves windows.

Here she is sitting in the bathroom window. 

She has a friend with her too, Big Kitty.

Julie in her favourite spot, the kitchen window!

She gets sunshine and good views from here.

Sadly there will be no sunbathing today.

We are having rain and a chance of thundershowers!

Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada!

Georgia: Often, I mention that Julie and I do not

always get along very well. That is true!

She can be a little bit  of a bully, but not one

that hurts me. She is just  pushy when it comes

 to mum's attention. She would love to be top cat.

However, here is proof that we all can get along.

We  are all enjoying the sun on the porch couch.

We do have good times,often when it is sleepy time.

We are all looking at mum with much anticipation.

That is because this weekend is our 

Thanksgiving weekend in Canada!

That means an extra mum day!!

Maybe there will be some tasty goodies for us too!

We are also expecting more sunshine and nice temperatures.

That means more porch time!!

For all of our Canadian friends, we wish you

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

Monday on the Porch with Georgia

Georgia: We are enjoying our extra mum day.

I think mum is too..

We are all out on the porch.

I can watch Critter TV.

Mostly I like to relax.

The other thing about being on the porch, 

mum often brushes me out here

I love getting brushed!

My furs feel nice and soft now.

JJ: I like being on the porch too.

It is sunny and warm and my old bones love that.

I even like to share the couch with my younger

sister Julie.

We get along really well.

Flashback Friday with Julie

This post first appeared on July 31,2012.

Hi, Julie here, doing my very first post.

Mom dragged me to the Vet last night.I was not happy. 

 The first Vet I saw is on holiday, but I liked this Vet too.

She checked me all over and said I was doing very well.

I gained a whole pound and a smidge!!! Then she gave me 

two needles so I do not get Feline Leukemia.

She also gave me treats! Did I say she was nice?

She looked in my mouth and my eyes and decided that I was 

a young kitty, probably about 3 years old. She gave me 

a birthday month too. We all agreed on April 2009.

After all, what girl does not want to be younger,heehee.

The Vets will monitor my furs to see how they grow.

Some furs are growing back,mostly on my back.

We will watch it more for allergies  after I have my

spay operation in mid August. What I want to know is this,

what is a spay operation???

Hmmmm, I think I need more food. Hey Mom... !

In this post, Mum and the Vet decided on April as my birthday month.

Mum being totally forgetful forgot all about it.

We tend to celebrate our Gotcha Days.

However, our friends  Pipo and Dalton 

from Meezer's Mews & Terrieristical Woofs

did not forget!

They made this really pawsome card.

Thank you so much!! I love it!!

I am looking forward to doing more of this on the weekend.

It will be a great weekend because Mum has an

extra day with us!!

This is the Victoria Day weekend on Canada

Sunshine(part of the weekend anyway) and an extra mum day

adds up to a FUN weekend!

Holiday Monday with Georgia

Georgia: Hello and welcome to Monday. I am happy

because mum is home because it is a holiday

knows as Heritage Day.

I am looking forward to extra scritches and brushings!

JJ is pretty impressed as he thinks his colouring  matches the floor!

Well, he is right!

We enjoyed lots of sun on Saturday.

Then we got snow(but not a lot) on Sunday.

It made the trees look pretty.

Earl the Squirrel did not mind the snow.

Mum put out seeds and he found them

Mum found the squirrel's footprints in the snow too.

This is our yard ...for now.

Today is sunny and Tuesday is going to  be rainy!

What a strange Winter so far!

Julie is enjoying the extra mum day too.
