Finally Friday !

Julie: I like to sit here and look out on the backyard deck.

Very often I see squirrels. I would love to chase them,

but mum says no. I say darn!

 

Sometimes, I like to sit here after supper.

Mum will often give me some treats. She calls it desert.

Hurry up mum! I like treats!!!

 We are going to have a quiet weekend just hanging

out together. I like that!!!

Mum can read her books and I can curl up in her lap.

That makes me happy and it is also FUN !!!

I purr you all have a FUN weekend.

I also want to thank all  that have commented on 

the 13th Blogoversary post.

It has been quite a good time even if I was not there at

the beginning. I look forward to doing my bit 

to keep it going.

Let's Get This Weekend Started!!

Georgia: I love my water and as a kitty prone to constipation,

Mum is glad I like drinking water.

Mmmmmmmmm! So refreshing!

You can see my big paws in this picture too.

However, having extra toes(front and back) also

means a few extra seconds with the nail trimmer.

 Julie: I'm just hanging out and watching Georgia

drinking her water in her room.

I see mum with that camera that I don't like.

Since I wasn't looking at her, she used the flash.

Either way, I still look good!!!

Now that the weekend is here we are looking forward 

to mum time ! We know that will be FUN!

Finally Friday!

Georgia: We are mighty glad today is Friday!

Mum was working a bit late this week  and was late getting home.

That meant she did not bother us with the camera  a lot.

We did not mind that part. MOL!

Julie: I am glad this week is over.

I did not like mum working late as I missed my 

mum time. I will make up for lost time this weekend though!!

One thing is for sure, we will make sure to have FUN!!!

Friday Close Ups

Georgia: Well it is Friday and we are happy.

It is the weekend and Mum will be home.

Woot!!

We like that as it means more mum time and lots of scritches.

JJ: I like having mum around as I love attention.

I also like scritches and treats.

I also like heat. As it will be a bit cooler this weekend,

mum may have the furnace on a bit.

Oh that sounds good!

Julie: I love weekend because mum is home and I love mum.

I sit on her lap when she reads.

I also love belly rubs,treats,scritches, warm sunshine,

the porch...pretty much everything!

Most of all, we all like FUN!!!!!

Georgia: Happy Friday friends!

Another weekend is upon us and we are all

looking forward to it as we will all be home

and mum will be with us.

JJ: We are extra excited as mum will be taking  some

vacation time Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday too!!!!

Oh boy, more mum time!

Julie: Really?! You are taking more days off to be 

with me?!!

Mum: Well you and JJ and Georgia.

Julie: We're not going away again? WE are staying here?

Mum: Yes Julie,we are all staying here.

Julie: WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!

Well then, let's get this pawsome weekend started!

Finally Friday!

Georgia: Well it's finally Friday and the weekend is here!

We are happy and so is mum.

Our week was not too hot, but the weekend looks like it will be hot!
Mum is glad she will be home and not have to travel to work

in the heat.

I also like to lounge in this chair.It's comfy.

Oh yeah!! Really comfy.

You all look interesting upside down too! MOL!

JJ: What do you mean,"why am I laying on the floor" ?

It's cool and comfy.

Julie: Weekend,mum home,porch time,scritches.

Georgia: The Summer heat has made us a bit lazy.

But not that lazy!

JJ would not agree either.

He thinks the best thing about being awake is the 

possibility of treats. JJ loves treats and he loves to eat.

He has a wonderful appetite for an older kitty.

I also like spending time on the porch.

I even hang out with Julie She does not bother me

much on the porch.Inside she can be a bit of a pest!

Julie loves the sunshine!

Today is a bit overcast and it is likely to rain

 by the time mum comes home from work.

The rest of the weekend looks pretty good with maybe

some showers. That's OK as we will all be together

and mum can give scritches and brushings.

We love that!!

Friday Close Ups with Georgia,Julie and JJ

Georgia: Well friends, it's been a quick week.

That was because mum was off Monday do her work

week went by fast.She said it was busy too so she

is going to join us this weekend in doing some

relaxing. We think we can show her a thing or two.Heehee!

The nice thing about busy weeks is that there is not a lot 

of picture taking. We did however get some close ups

gpr you to enjoy.

Here is mine

JJ is looking good even if his eyesight is failing.

He is still a happy, loving kitty.

Julie does not like to pose and that is a pity.

She does have some good lines and  pretty neat

whisker humps.

One of these days mum will capture her looking at the

camera and being relaxed.

Let's Get This Weekend Started!

Georgia: Yay It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is what mum is saying today.

She is happy the week is over and so are we.

This week we had some sun and on Wednesday we had

 lots of rain  and high winds,then Thursday was sunny and cool.

Today is sunny with some wind but warmer.

We always like Friday as it means mum is home 

for 2 days with us.

We are doing our Friday close ups.

We purr you like them.

The big rain washed away all our snow.

All that is left is some ice that is shaded by big trees.

A it is mostly in the woods, mum is not concerned.

Neither is the little mourning dove in the bottom right corner.

She was here about 7:30 last night. Late for her.

She was eating any seeds that were left from 

this morning.

While the snow is gone, the grass has not started to grow yet.

Soon...it will happen soon.

That's what mum hopes. MOL!

Finally Friday!

Georgia:   It is finally Friday and we are so happy

as mum will be home with us.She is happy too

as it was a "long week".

That's human talk for "very busy'.

Anyway, all of us are looking forward to

relaxing and snuggling!

Good thing too as we are expecting major rain this evening!

Mum hopes it will remove lots of the snow and ice 

in our driveway .

Friday Thoughts with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends.It's Friday and that means 

mum's staycation is over. Darn!

We have enjoyed this week and we had lots

of snuggles and FUN !

The good news is that mum still has some

vacation days left!

This week has been crazy  in the weather department.

We had sun,rain and snow and it was warm and really cold.

The cold weather was Thursday and today.

The rest of the weekend looks to be warmer.

WooHoo!

 On the cool days, JJ and Julie did not go on the porch.

They sat on the windowsill and looked onto

the porch and outside.

Julie was looking for live squirrels.

The one above her is just a figurine. MOL!

If any squirrels or mice get into the porch, 

they better watch out! Julie is quite a mouser.

(Mum has had to rescue some that Julie brought 

into the house.Sometimes the mouse is not so lucky.

Mum is happy that Julie never tries to eat them.)

Heehee! Mum leaves the kitchen door open 

when we cats are on the porch)

JJ also enjoyed looking out the windows.

This week mum took him to the Vet for his

semi-annual check-up. They stole some of his blood.

They do a Senior wellness check.

Mum has not caught up with the Vet yet to see 

how he is doing.They are watching his thyroid and kidneys.

JJ also had a few matts that mum could not remove.

One was right under his chin.

The  Vet staff removed them so now he feels better

but his coat is a bit uneven. JJ does not mind though.

He is just glad mum is not picking at his furs anymore.

For a kitty that is 21 years old, he is still pretty active.

He also has a really good appetite.

The Vet said he can eat as much as he wants!

While mum goes back to work Monday, we will

enjoy our weekend and have FUN!

Mum agrees. She says it is good to just

sit and relax for a while. We agree!

Let's Get This Weekend Started!

Georgia: Well friends, it's Friday again and we are all

happy,including mum.

Thursday we had some cold weather. 

When mum was at work there was a weather 

system that moved over the area.

Friends, we had SNOW!!!!

It was blowing sideways for a bit then stopped.

No snow stayed on the ground, but the cold air and wind 

did stay.

Today,however, is a bit warmer and the sun is shining. 

Whew!

Today we are sharing pictures from this date in 2017.

I was sitting on this chair.

Julie was lounging on this bed.

JJ was keeping her company.

October 19,2017 was warmer.

We had this daylily in bloom.

This year, the daylilies stopped blooming by the 

end of September!

Now, mum says our weekend will be rainy and cloudy.

At least it won't be so cold!

Whatever the weather, we will be having FUN!!

Finally Friday !

Georgia: We all had fun on pirates Day and we purr you did too!

We spent yesterday recovering from catnip grog and

celebrating with our friends.

Today we are getting ready for the weekend.

 We are sure there will be lots of relaxing and some napping.

Mum is looking forward to that too.
