Georgia: Sunday, we had some sun and it was pretty nice

on the porch. Good thing we got to enjoy it

because the rest of the week is going to be rainy!

Dang!

I jumped from tha couch to the window ledge.

Mum was too slow to catch me in action.

I may be 16, but I can still be fast and jump quickly!

MOL!!!

Julie: Mum, why do you have to take pictures 

when I'm trying to sleep?

Mum: Because your fans like to see you.

Fans?!

 Oh...um   Hi there ! Nice to see you.

I am enjoying the warm sun on the porch.

It really feels good. Great for snoozing too!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia:We had a really nice weekend.

It was sunny and warm.

It was great for getting lots of outside wiffies.

I could heat lots of birds and the squirrels!

It was also nice to just sit and enjoy the day 

and the sun on my furs.

JJ and Julie also enjoyed the sunshine!

I think they were in pre-snooze mode. MOL!

Julie: I do like sleeping in the sun.

I also like watching the yard to see what 

critters are out there.

That sun does feel really good on my black furs though.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Happy Monday friends!

WE had a good weekend. It was sunny and warm

both days! It is sunny today too.

I was in the kitchen with mum. I like to 

keep tabs on what she is doing.

I was also enjoying the sun that was coming in the window

JJ was in the computer room and there was sun there too.

If you look closely, you can see where he had some big matts shaved.

New fur is growing back, but it is pretty short so far.

WE cats really do love the sun.

It makes us look good too!

Julie has a new snoozy spot. It is in the living room

.She likes it because it is comfy and she can keep an

eye on mum. She can see into the kitchen from there.

Naturally she spent time on the porch. 

Critter TV was pretty good.

Mum saw Julie staring intently out the kitchen window

early this morning and went to see what she was staring at.

These two deer were wandering around our yard.

In this picture, they are heading into the woods.

The grey area above the grass is the gravel road

that goes by our place.

 It is a short private road just off the main road.

That is probably why the deer were here.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Well, we had a mixed weekend. Lots  of rain

om Saturday and sunny on Sunday.

Naturally as indoor cats we did not mind and

\as mum did not have to go anywhere, she did

not mind either.She only went out to feed the birds.

JJ was enjoying the sun and the extra warmth!

So was another cat.

Julie: She's behind me with the camera isn't she?

Hi mum! 

Yup, just absorbing the rays.

The scene Saturday night.

Yup, we were lazy cats. MOL!

When it was not pouring on Saturday,

Mr Groundhog came out to feed.

He is pretty nervous so mum had to be sneaky and

not move to fast in order to take his picture.

She took this from the kitchen window.

All in all a pretty good weekend.

JJ: I love to be on the porch when the sun is shining.

Sunshine feels so good on these old bones.

I really enjoy the heat too.

I also enjoy soft places to snooze.

The couch fits that bill quite nicely.

Georgia: JJ is quite right, Sunshine is a wonderful thing.

After all the rain we had this past week.

it is nice to feel those warm rays again.

What better place than on the sunny porch.

Yes, I know that JJ is behind me. 

That is OK because JJ and I are good pals and often

spend time together snoozing.

He is a really nice brother.

Always friendly and calm.

 Not like another sibling of mine!

We do have some good moments, but her ladyship thinks

she is the top cat. We know better.

Still, she does have ger good moments.

Warm Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Time to get up!

I hear the porch is sunny.

Oh yes it is. Mighty nice too.

A good day to watch what is going on outdoors.

Even though it is now Fall, there is still

plenty of warm days ahead.

 JJ: I also am on the porch in the sunshine.

Here, I am framed by little sister Julie's tail!

I must say, these old bones love the warmth of the sun.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Makes a guy feel like taking a nap.

I think I will do that now.

Naturally Julie loved the porch too!

Georgia: Hi friends. 

We finally had a sunny and warm weekend !

It was really nice to be on the porch and absorb the sun.

JJ: I agree Georgia.

The sun feels good on these old bones.

When mum goes away, I'll have a good snooze.

Earl the Squirrel is enjoying breakfast in the sunshine.

Sunshine and Heat Equals Happy Cats!

Georgia: Hi friends! We had a pawsome weekend 

with lots of sunshine and warm temps.

I even went on the porch.There was lots to see.

I enjoyed window wiffies too.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I thought that I might pose you you too.

It always makes mum happy when I look at the camera.

Are you done mum? Good.

I may have a nap here today.

 Can you guess who I am?

I am backlit by the morning sun.

Yup, it's me, JJ.

Guess it's not too hard to guess as I am the only longhaired cat 

living here.

I do enjoy that warm sun. It feels good on my old bones.

That warmth feels good.

 As you can see, I am sitting on the dryer enjoying a sunbeam.
