Happy Monday from Georgia and Julie!

Georgia: Happy Monday friends! How are you doing?
We are still hanging out and having fun with mum!
WE like that a lot too.

Julie: I must admit, I do agree with Georgia.
That does not happen all the time.

We have been enjoying Window TV.
These pretty finches were enjoying some seeds.
Usually the squirrels are there . They tend
to hog it a lot!

Mr Groundhog tends to visit  a lot. Here he is  on
a sunny day.

Here is is on an overcast day.
He seems to like our yard.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends! We had a pretty nice weekend.
It was quite pleasant with sun and warm temps.
As you can see, I was on the porch.

I have not been on the porch for quite a while because
it is pretty cool during the Winter and early
Spring. It is good for watching Critter TV too.

JJ likes to sleep more, but he does get up and has a
wander around the house.

When he wakes up he is always interested in food.
That makes mum happy. Mum says his appetite is the best
of the three of us!

Julie loves to hangout near mum.
Mum was reading and Julie was waiting for tummy rubs.
She got plenty.

Julie still enjoys the porch and spends lots of time there.
Her appetite is still not 100%, but she is eating.
She is a happy cat and follows mum around.

As for Critter TV, Mr Groundhog stopped by again.

He even posed for this pic!
(actually mum was in the kitchen. If the groundhog
saw her he would take off and hide. They are very nervous)

We hope you had a good weekend.

Monday Musings with Julie

Julie: Our weekend was pretty good.
We started off with a nice nap.

Then I decided to explore the porch and look out the window.
Critter TV was pretty good.

There were lots of critters this weekend including
birds.
(Don't worry Trout Towne Tabbies, they did not stay)
This is a Blue Jay, but he was not playing baseball.

There were a couple of crows too.

 This is a Humming Bird.

Since it was outside, I could not tell if it was humming.

Here is Earl the Squirrel.
He was asking for more seeds.
I was asking to get out and chase him!
Neither one of us got what we wanted. Dang!

This appears to be a baby squirrel.
I did not get to chase him either.

Maybe I should just go back to the cat pile.

Monday Musings with Julie

Julie: Hi friends. As you can see, I was on the porch.
It was pretty cool and I did not stay out long.
We did have sunshine and that was nice.

Georgia and JJ spent most of the weekend snuggling.

Critter TV was pawsome this weekend though I don't
think my friends in  Troute Town  would agree.
That's because we had birds!
Here is a crow with Earl the Squirrel.

There were also lots of ducks.

This group was getting ready to leave.
They winter in the river next to our place.
It runs along the side of the house downhill from us.
Then it goes under the road(bridge) into the lake.
Right now, most of the lake is iced over.

The best news is that the temps for this week will
be above 0 C !!!!!(That's 32F for our American friends)
We will be getting rain and some sun this week!
Mum hopes it takes away a lot of snow!

I hope it warms up the porch!

Cats and Critters Friday!

Georgia: The week is finally winding down and I know
mum is happy about that. She said it felt like a long week
but I know she only worked 5 days as usual.
Silly humans!
Anyway, as we get this weekend started, we will
stary with some close ups of us and some of our
Critter TV.

Yours truly!

 JJ in a sunbeam.

Julie looking straight at you .
She normally does not pose for the camera.

Finally Friday...the 13!

Georgia: Hi friends and welcome to Friday!!!
I know mum is happy it's Friday because work
has been busy with people (not her) on vacation.
But now that the weekend is here, she is happy.
She should be because she gets to spend it with us!

JJ is  happy too as he knows he will get more scritches.
He will be looking for some treats too. Heehee

Mum saw Earl in the yard. He was eating a seed.
Can you tell he was afraid she might try  and take it?

She told him to relax and eat his seed, so he did.

Mum also saw this young fellow.
Mr Groundhog was out and about and quite nervous
that mum was in such close proximity.
He kept his eyes on her to make sure she did not come closer.

We are all happy it is the weekend and we hope to have
our usual FUN!!
We hope you have FUN too!

Because it is Friday the 13th, Julie
has this special picture for you.

Friday Close Ups-Cats,Critters and a Monster!

Georgia: Happy Friday friends!
Another week has passed, but it did bring Summer
as of June 21st!
We purr that we will get summer temps too.
The mornings and evenings are still cool.
At any rate, we are happy for this weekend
as we like having mum home for 2 days!
We present to you some close ups.
This is mine.

JJ

Julie  (on the porch naturally)

Mr Groundhog (saying something  to mum like"go away")

This young deer was  near the woodsy side of our place.

Mr Monster!!

Mum is scared and fascinated by these Fishing Spiders.
They are similar to Wolf Spiders but hang out
near water. There is a river  somewhat close to us,
but we think this guy is lost.

He is on the other side of the screen and you can see
 mum's forefinger and thumb.
Mum is not used to seeing spiders this big.
City spiders are generally smaller and we live just outside Halifax.

We purr you have interesting critters where you live
and that none are too scary.

Wishing you all a FUN weekend.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: I was sitting on the back of this chair and
mum took my picture. She said I had a nice profile.
I think I look good from any angle.

We enjoyed our weekend and it was quiet.
Mum did lots of reading and cleaning.
JJ and Julie enjoyed some porch time too.

Julie was feeling lazy on Sunday and wanted  a snooze.

Julie did not really want to be disturbed so she
looked at the camera and them mum went away.

On Critter TV,  we saw Chippy Chipmunk
hanging off the birdfeeder,

and then Earl the Squirrel sitting on top of this tree.

We also saw the usual assortment of birds.
It was a quiet weekend, but we enjoyed it
because mum was home.
We purr you all had a good weekend too.
