Finally Friday with Julie!!

Julie: I'm sitting on mum's desk helping her to do my post.

Humans require lots of direction and I need to make

sure she does as I wish.

I am pretty happy with what she does.

She managed to get some decent pictures of me.

We are both looking forward t the weekend.

We are happy that it is October, a month good

for black cats ! MOL!!!!

Mum: Well, your friends might want to see your face.

Julie: Really? My friends want to see me?!!

Finally Friday!

Georgia: Mum wanted a picture.

She also wanted me to eat more of my dinner.

We like the weekends and mum time.

Mum likes it too because of cat time.

Finally Friday!

Georgia: We had lots of fun on Canada day and now we 

are looking forward to  more fun this weekend

as mum will be home again with us!!!

We love getting all that extra attention  and scritches!

Julie: Wide window sills! They are pawsome for having

your meals.

Supper by the setting sun. Nothing like it!

Not to mention the great views .

Do you think we are a bit spoiled?
We are and wouldn't have it any other way!

Besides, it's FUN!!

That's what we want to do this weekend...have FUN.

With mum home, we are sure it will happen.

Photo fails. Every human has some including our human.

She often reacts  rather than composing or getting 

things focused. We think she is the one who needs to focus

and pay attention!

Cats and Critters, the Friday Edition

Georgia: Mum says we are in for another hot and sunny weekend

That means I get to have my baths on the porch.

 I like that,because mum usually brushes me too.

I love getting brushed.

JJ decided that Julie needed a bath.

He is a big groomer here.

None of us mind  grooming by JJ.

It is so relaxing!

Critter TV was pretty good too.

Mum caught this hummer on a wire by the house.

She caught it escaping too !

Earl the Squirrel has  been hanging around a lot.

He got on the porch a couple of times and mum talked to him.

She told him it was best if he did not stay as there were cats.

What?! Did she mean us?! Sheese!

Well, Julie would have given chase that's for sure!

Earl has taken to hanging outside on the deck railings.

He is hoping for nuts.

We think he is nuts!

He does all kind of stuff to look "cute"

Julie: Do I look miffed?

I AM miffed.

Mum won't let me chase that darn squirrel !!!

Georgia: The week is finally winding down and I know

mum is happy about that.She said it felt like a long week

but I know she only worked 5 days as usual.

Silly humans!

Anyway, as we get this weekend started, we will 

stary with some close ups of us and some of our

Critter TV.

Let's Get This Weekend Started

Georgia:  As you can see, I am laying on the floor vent.

That time of year is here when the house gets cool and mum

turns the furnace on to warm things up a bit before turning 

it down again.

I enjoy the heat and do not like when she turns the heat way down.

This picture is a bit blurry because mum did not use the flash

as she did not want me to have laser eyes.

JJ is having a bath before bedtime.

He likes to go and snuggle with mum when he is done.

Julie is in the kitchen.

She is hoping to convince mum to give a big round of bedtime treats.

It's not working.

We are all looking forward to the weekend.

We think it will be better than last weekend as mum is 

feeling better. Her back is not sore, but she caught a cold

and now that is going away too.

Needless to sat, she did not do to much picture taking 

this week. We are not complaining.

She will probably make up for it this weekend.

With that in mind, we hope to have some FUN!

Finally Friday

Georgia: Peek-a-boo I see you!

Are you ready for the weekend? I am.

 I am looking forward to having mum home all day

so she can give me scritches and brush my furs.

JJ: I am ready for the weekend as I love to snooze on the porch

couch. It gets lots of sun and is very cozy.

Mum said we will have sun this weekend too.

Julie: Weekend means mum,porch and lots and lots of attention.

It means lots of lap time if she decides to read too!

I look forward to that !

Finally Friday Close Ups

Well, it's finally Friday again and we are happy since

mum will be home for two days.

However, she will be gone for a while on Sunday to a 

family gathering.

We will be OK with that if she brings us some treats.

As usual, we look forward to plenty of cuddles and scritches,

and ,of course, FUN!

Finally Friday

Georgia: While I am looking forward to the  weekend,

I am looking forward to a nap right now.

No more pictures mum!

JJ: This is my suave and debonair look.

Is it working?

Julie: Mum just told me that we are expecting 

very heavy rain for Saturday.

I hope I can still get on the porch.

After all, it is enclosed so I will not get wet and it will be

reasonably warm.

In our yard this week,

Mr Chipmunk.

While he does not get along with the squirrels, 

he is not being scared away.

He still visits.

Mum also saw some very yellow Gold Finches.

She was happy to see these birds 

as she does not see them every day.

.

Close Up Friday

Georgia: We are glad it is Friday.

We are having a big snowstorm.

Mum was relieved that we got furnace oil in our tank.

One day, the oil company was busy.

The next day, the truck broke down.

Finally on Thursday they came!

Just in time before the storm.

We will be nice and warm and I will be able to

snooze on top of the heater. 

WooHoo!

JJ: Even though it is Winter, we still manage to get on

the porch if the sun is shining.That is because the sun warms up

the porch quite nicely.

We are supposed to have sun on Saturday, so maybe  I will

have some porch time.

Julie:  I like sitting on windowsills. If we get sunshine on the

weekend, I will be  on the sills. The sun will shine on my furs

and warm them up. I like that.

Too bad it is stormy, but maybe this afternoon when

 the storm is over the sun will come out.

Mum says it might.
