Finally Friday !

Georgia: This is pretty close to an action shot.
I am in motion ,just not fast motion.
Mum complains I don't get enough exercise .                                            I say she is one to talk ;)

She is happy I am eating some food.
She says I don't eat enough.
I do try though.

Julie: I know you're there mum.

Here, I will give you a little of my face  so you
can show my blogging fans.
I am sitting on the porch listening to outdoor evening
sounds. It's kinda FUN!!

What FUN things will you be doing this weekend?
I know we will enjoy having mum around.

Black Cat Appreciation Day !

Julie: Guess what!?
Today is Black Cat Appreciation day!!!
A day just for cats with black furs!
That is so pawsome. I love being appreciated!
Our friends Manny and Chili Bruce are hosting
this year's event
Drop by and say Hi to them(click the red link)

As you all know, I love my porch and I love to look
out the windows. A friend of mum's made a
new window for me!!!!

This is SO cool! The window slides up and I can get
lots of window wiffies!! It just needs a few more adjustments.
I love being appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

To all the black cats out there
" Happy Black Cat Appreciation Day" !!

Monday Musings with Julie

Julie: Our weekend was pretty good.
We started off with a nice nap.

Then I decided to explore the porch and look out the window.
Critter TV was pretty good.

There were lots of critters this weekend including
birds.
(Don't worry Trout Towne Tabbies, they did not stay)
This is a Blue Jay, but he was not playing baseball.

There were a couple of crows too.

 This is a Humming Bird.

Since it was outside, I could not tell if it was humming.

Here is Earl the Squirrel.
He was asking for more seeds.
I was asking to get out and chase him!
Neither one of us got what we wanted. Dang!

This appears to be a baby squirrel.
I did not get to chase him either.

Maybe I should just go back to the cat pile.

Finally Friday

Georgia: Peek-a-boo I see you!
Are you ready for the weekend? I am.
I am looking forward to having mum home all day
so she can give me scritches and brush my furs.

JJ: I am ready for the weekend as I love to snooze on the porch
couch. It gets lots of sun and is very cozy.
Mum said we will have sun this weekend too.

Julie: Weekend means mum, porch and lots and lots of attention.
It means lots of lap time if she decides to read too!
I look forward to that !

What do you look forward to on the weekend?

We purr it involves FUN !

She said she was going to her nephew's wedding.
She was gone for years and we were sure we were
going to starve!!
Monday she came home  at suppertime.
We got food!!!!!!!!!
I even got to get on the porch!
Oh yes! I am a happy cat!

No mum, I am not exaggerating!

Womancat Monday

Julie: Hi there, it's me Julie.
As you can see we had some sun this weekend
an boy was it nice! It feels really good on my furs.

My big sister Georgia enjoyed the sun too.
I was good and did not chase her away.

I did enjoy myself quite a bit in the sunshine.

Mum liked the shadows I made.

Know who else enjoyed the sun?
Chip the Chipmunk.
Mum was happy to see him as she has not seen
him since last Summer.

I think mum likes his racing stripes. Heehee !

As you know, sunshine is when I love to be on the porch
and I was there a lot this weekend.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends.
Mum wanted me to pose for some pictures.
I agreed, but I did not want to move  as this place
is cozy and I may want to nap here.
It was OK because the sun was shining
and brightened up the room.

There, this picture is much better  and not nearly as washed out.
Gee mum, after all these years of blogging you would think your
photo skills would have gotten better.

JJ even agreed to pose a bit.
As an older cat, he thinks sleeping is the best
pose in the world!

There...a nice face shot.
Now he can get back to snoozing.

As for Julie, well you know the baby of the family does not snooze
as much as we do. She was enjoying this sunny window.

She quickly moved on to her favourite place.
