While Mom was with her sister, Mrs Quilter,
they went to a special place not too far from Mrs Quilter's home.

Here is a big hint!
Yup!! They went to Peggy's Cove.
It was after supper and a bit foggy.
It did not rain, though and the fog even lifted a bit.

The famous lighthouse.
It was repainted this summer and looks very spiffy!!

The rocks are very big!
It's getting darker ...
Now it's dark enough for the light to come on!!
She took this pic,of the same place ,when they left.

Oh my, that looks lovely! My mom grew up on the coast and misses the water a bunch. Peggy's Cove looks like a place she would really enjoy. I bet your mom and her sister had fun!
What a lovely place to go! My human would love to see that.
What fun they had! That's a cool place!

Oh wow, what a beautiful place to visit! Love the pics of the lighthouse and boats! Reminds us of our Lighthouse and coastal community!
We had to click through and look at all the photos - Peggy's Cove is beautiful! We love the rocks around that lighthouse.
Meowee! What a beautiful place. I can see why she calls it, "Special"!

We could just look at these lovely pictures all day and dream! Sigh. We are new here and just have the biggest soft spot for "aged to perfection" mancats! You are exceedingly handsome dear boy.
I'm pretty sure I visited that town once, when I was very young - or at least someplace in NS with a lighthouse like that and lots of rocks.
The fog is nice, we get pretty used to it here :)
My mom likes the pics your mom posts of the scenery. Looks a little cold still?
