Georgia: Oh hi! I am listening to the noisy squirrels .

They really chatter and screech a lot.

No wonder Julie loves to sit here.

They have so much energy,and more than me.

I am content to watch.

I also have company.

My brother JJ is enjoying the warm breeze and warm 

sunshine. Come to think of it, so am I.

Treasure wants to enjoy the sun too, but Mom and that camera 

make him nervous. Mom finally took the hint ! HeeHee!

When not obsessing over squirrels, Julie can relax.

Finally Friday and Sunny Weekend Ahead !

Georgia: Mmmmmmmmmmmmm! 

The Autumn air smells so nice and fresh.

Oh yeah, I like this. I think I  will do this all weekend.

It's going to be sunny and warm, Mom says.

Sunshine,window wiffies, warm breezes and Critter TV will

make this weekend lots of fun. So will treats,scritches 

and cuddles.

JJ: Yeah Georgia, I look forward to lots of naps

on this sunny porch.

Treasure: I love sitting in sunbeams!

My furs get nice and warm and I like that.

Julie: I also love weekends when we get to lounge

on the porch. It is so comfy and warm when the sun shines.

I can have lots of nice naps.

Wait a minute! How can I relax when those squirrels

keep screeching and chasing each other!

Oh, how I would love to get out and chase them !

We purr all our friends have a FUN weekend too !!

Monday Musings with Georgia and a Birthday Wish

Georgia: Mom wanted to get a few pictures of me, 

so I agreed to pose.

I do not mind posing, but I wish Mom would pay

closer attention to details.

She cut off my feet! Sheesh!

I figured she could not mess up this pose ,heehee

 JJ was having a bath on the porch.

 It was warm and sunny yesterday.

Do you see this? 

Look at how curly his belly furs are!

Gee! It's gotta be hard to keep all those long hairs

under control.

Those scurvy people have the nerve to call yonder

building a Yacht Club!

Shiver me timbers,but it ain't so!

It be ours and we aim to  claim it!

Tonight we sail our trusty ship to retake the place.

After all, we pirates need a place to share our plunder with all

our friends!

While We Wait for Supper

Georgia: When it gets close to suppertime, we like to gather 

in the living room. Mom feeds us there.

While waiting, I like to hop up to this nook in the bricks.

It's just my size and it's comfy.

Also, the other kitties do not come up here.

JJ: I like to sit on the chair, but keep an eye on Mom.

I always look forward to supper !

Treasure: I like suppertime too.

I feel like I'm being watched.

Friday with Julie

Julie: Well, it is another Friday  and that means a 

weekend with Mom. It also means more window gazing 

at the wildlife that frequents our yard.

Oh, I see wildlife now!

 It's Earl the squirrel. There have been a lot of squirrels

this Summer. We have even seen little young ones.

Their tails are not as bushy as the adults.

All the squirrels we see are little red ones.

One evening we heard screeches coming from the back yard.

Mom went out on the deck to see what it was.

She saw Rocky climbing down  this tree!

It seems two raccoons were having a fight over this tree.

After Rocky left, it was quiet again.

We purr you all have  a fun weekend and maybe get to see

some Critter TV.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Excuse me JJ, but I need to do some stretches.

HEY! JJ, stop that!

I'm trying to do some stretches!

You are being quite rude!

Now, I think I will hop down.

Finally Friday

 Georgia: I am enjoying some time on the porch.

 However, I may appear nervous, but I am not.

Well only a tiny bit. What am I looking at?

Julie!

I must admit that she and I do get along better than we did.

She does not chase or whap me like she did when she

first came here. Tillie often protected me. That is

probably why Tillie and Julie never got along.

Julie and I are not best friends, but we co- exist. 

JJ: Yup, I agree. There is not as much drama here anymore!

 Treasure: The drama is not so much, but I  sometimes

swat a kitty when I want attention and they

are too close to Mom. Mom says I am determined to be  #1

kitty. She tells me not to worry because she loves me and 

there is plenty of love for all of us kitties.

I am the nervous type and  need lots of reassurance.

I am getting better . I do sleep with the other kitties, 

but I like to be closest to Mom.

Here are some things Mom saw in the yard.

 Two Grackles and a Blue Jay.

A big bug with a long body.

Earl the Squirrel.

Not often that you see him still!

Labour Day Monday

Georgia: Hi. I am able to be on the porch today because

Mom is home. Today is Labour Day and it is a holiday.

WooHoo! That means extra scritches and brushings!

I even get to see neat Bird TV.

Look! There is a young male pheasant!

He is very nervous and Mom had to sneak these pics 

from the kitchen window. He is a pretty big bird!

We also saw a pair of woodpeckers on the cherry tree!

Mostly, though, we have been doing some sleeping.

It is relaxing to do when Mom is close by.

We purr you all are having a good day too.
