Monday Musings with Georgia

What a weekend we had!!!
Friday it rained and rained and rained!!
We had more rain than the last big rain.
Last time we had 104mm and this time we had
108mm. That's about 4 inches!!!!!!

See the puddles it left in the driveway
and garden?

This puddle is in the front yard!

When the rain stopped, Mom took
pictures of the river by our house.
It was moving very fast and Mom
said the levels were really high!!!

This river is moving toward Lake Echo.

The water is pretty high and close
to our neighbour's grass!!!
Good thing it stopped raining.
The puddles in our yard are gone now.
I am glad I am not near that water!!!

I think my box is safer and
way more comfy, heehee

Want to see a few more pics?
Pop over to House Panthers
and Tillie will show you.

Wow, look at all the rain! We are glad you are safe in your box. I wouldn't want to be out in that rain either.

Wow, that's a HUGE amount of rain! Our mom was talking with Grandma yesterday (in Halifax) and told her about the rain, that cars were stranded in certain areas, with water mid-way up their doors! Scary!

We wish you a DRY week!

Wow, that river does look quite full. And the front yard looks rather "damp". Glad you're safe inside in your cozy box.
