Let's kick off Mancat Monday by showing off my fine Mancat profile.
Now I'm guarding the door. While the weather outside is somewhat warm,Mom decided to put up the outdoor Christmas lights. I'm keeping an eye on her.
I'm still not sure why Mom does this,but it makes her happy.
I hope she remembers to pick some grass for me. It's still growing outside.

We only have one Chrismas-y decoration so far.
It is traditional to put lights outside because it gets dark so early. This is to help outside kitties see. It is good that your beans do this!

Our Daddy decided to light up our house this weekend too and put out his Christmas lights. We do not get why humans do this. We meowed and meowed at him to come in all afternoon but he wanted to play with those lights instead. Silly human!!

Be proud of your mommy. We have our tree up, but no outside lights. Mommy should have done it while it was warm. Now it is going to be cold and wet for most of the week. Sigh.

oh my mum is excited that it is time to put up lights! we are allowed a fake tree and some lights but no other ornaments cos we bat them around and break them...and tinsel gets dragged around the flat so none of that either. your are a lovely handsome mancat Mickey xxx

My Moonshine...how wonderful that your mommy is decorating your house for you. Next Sunday is the first Advent and living in a German household we will light our first candle that day. My mommy is writing a special poem for the 12 days of CATmas:) it will be funny. I hope you and the sister are keepin warm together right now, it is quite chilly here now and the bird bath is frozen over. The Lapdaddy put out sunflower seed hearts so the birds do not even have to unwrap their seeds!
This morning there was a concert in the high trees next door....hundreds of blackbirds were gathering to practise their parts for The Messiah. Oh it was glorious!

To answer your question, we had an outside enclosure before, but it was taken down when the new windows were installed, and it was falling apart, so it was sent off to the big enclosure dump in the sky.
